Vacation rentals with a firepit in Hartford County

My family and I traveled from MA for a wedding with my 5 year old nephew and dog and were looking for a home that would fit the needs of a child and dog and this home was perfect in every way! It was clean, great location and safe! Liza is an outstanding host and I cannot thank her enough for being such an amazing host!!

The host was exceptional! He took care of every need after we were displaced from our home. We stayed for a long time during snow and he took care of all snow removal as well! Very reasonable with his check-in and check out! He responds so quickly and a beautiful home, clean and we felt right at home! Beautiful neighborhood and yard, close by to everything needed. Everything needed was in the home. Very accommodating with anything needed! We loved that he was pet friendly and had everything a home could need including all supplies, laundry and amazing communication. I would definitely stay again!

Stacy’s place was exactly as described and presented in the photos. I immediately felt right at home. The backyard is lovely. The kitchen was great to use, and Stacy generously left snacks and treats for me and my dog. Definitely a lovely respite and offered the peace and quiet that I needed.

Jessi's place was exactly as described. It was cute and cozy and perfect for what we needed. Jessi responded to any questions quickly and was very clear in any and all instructions. The neighborhood was peaceful and the house was very easy to find. We will definitely be staying again!

We started at David’s place for a bachelorette party and had an amazing time! The view over the lake is unreal and there was plenty of space for eight of us total. The driveway is a little bit tricky to get in and out of, but we had no issues at all – just flagging for those with larger cars and/or coming in bad weather.

This is a lovely home and we had a wonderful stay. The house was spotless - one of the cleanest we have ever stayed in. The pictures on the listing truly do not do the house justice - the cedar tones are warm and bright and the house is quite spacious. Hosts were responsive and accommodating. Will stay again if in the area and it is available. Thank you!!

Every part of this house was beautiful, as was the huge yard with a babbling brook and small waterfall. I came for a writing retreat and found everything I needed during my stay--especially abundant coffee, which I was particularly grateful for :)

The home was exquisite and everything you need for a stay is provided. The description of the home is true in every aspect. It is easy to communicate with Jean Paul the host as he reaches out to see how things are going and if any supplies are required. It is definitely worth the money and visiting again.

We selected this AirBnB for the location. We were travelling for a friend's wedding weekend and needed a place close to our friend's home and various event facilities (Brignole Vineyards and Westfield Brewery). The location was perfect - close to the airport and the facilities. It's an antique home just as the listing states - from the 1700s - so you can expectsettled floors and short ceilings. However, the renovations were done very well and everything was spotless. The beds were comfortable. Pillows were great. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, plans, and baking sheets and we used it to cook several meals. Stop n Shop is down the street. The host was flexible with our departure time to allow us to leave and go directly to the wedding. Overall, it was clean and comfortable and I will stay here again when visiting my friend in the future. ** As an aside - we went to Julien's for breakfast and HIGHLY recommend. Granby itself is quite picturesque.

Katie's place is great! Spotless, charming, nicely decorated, comfortable beds... couldn't ask for more. Spectacular water pressure in the shower, too. We'll be back!

Chase was a great host! The place was just like the pictures. It was extremely clean when we got there. Very private, could not hear neighbors. Neighbors are friendly and helpful. No washer or dryer (as described in listing) but there is a great laundromat nearby within a 4 min drive. Kitchen is fully stocked. Shower gets extremely hot. Wi-Fi is good. Chase was responsive and left food recommendations. Lots of things in the area within 15-30 min drive , good mall, movie theater etc. Aldi and other grocery stores nearby. Overall a great stay, would recommend!

I really enjoyed my stay. It’s such a peaceful location at the end of a quaint street. All of the trees are beautiful and gives that feeling that you are surrounded by nature. Everything was exactly as described and there were a lot of amenities available to me. The bed was very comfortable, and I noticed little things that were done to make you feel right at home. I would absolutely stay here again.

House was in a great location for our families needs. Hosts were very helpful and addressed any needs and concerns we had almost immediately. Even with our rambunctious children and parking issues (not on hosts end) the hosts were polite throughout the stay.

Richard was great to work with: quickly responsive to messages, clear instructions about arriving and departing. I appreciate that. I had a very specific trip and Richard’s apartment was near to my activities. I was out a lot, but it’s great to come back to a clean place.

Absolutely worth staying here! Fruzsi took a chance renting to me as it was my first time using an airbnb. check in was easy the whole weekend had no issues house was as expected the teens I was hosting went out and played basketball. they went walking on the trails. will likely rent again.

Kevin was very communicative from the start. He met me at the door and gave an accurate lay of the land. The cabin was the perfect rustic place for our trip. The lake view was amazing and waking up to a beautiful sunrise and having coffee on the deck was an amazing way to start each day.

Very peaceful, clean and quiet. It was rainy during my stay so I didn't get to enjoy the outdoor spaces but they looked lovely.

The Hobbit Haus is such a great getaway spot. My partner and I felt very relaxed during our whole week staying there and loved exploring the surrounding area.
