Newly remodeled one bedroom one bath home with a rustic feel inside. New appliances, flooring, shower, heat/AC, everything.
“I stayed here with my boyfriend and it was wonderful! The space is much bigger than I expected. The open floor plan is beautiful. I love the aesthetic of the exposed ceiling. The bathroom is stocked with lots of towels and soap, shampoo, conditioner. There is a washer but no drier. The bed is comfortable. A huge tv is on an arm that can be watched from bed which was very nice. The TV can stream many things including netflix, amazon, hulu. The kitchen is fully stocked with all you need, and fridge had water bottles inside. Kim quickly responded to any concern and even dropped off dishsoap as there was none in the kitchen. The only issue was wifi. The password was included... however the router was in their main house next door and even in the area closest to their house, no devices would connect to the wifi due to low signal. Most areas in the airbnb wouldnt even detect their network. Hoping the wifi issue gets resolved. Would definitely stay again!”
With all the charm of a southern provincial Victorian estate in the heart of STL, this solar-powered, recently renovated 126-years-young home boasts a low carbon footprint! A spacious wrap-around veranda overlooks flowering terraces; while the interior offers abundant common space (2 kitchens, sunroom, dining, living, deck, grill). Private rooms come with personal TV, DVD, and guest accounts for Netflix, Hulu, Prime, and HBOnow. Organic raised bed garden in back. Adjacent to YMCA (with pool).
“Very beautiful flowers are planted in front of the house. Check in was simple and she has signs with very easy to follow instructions in case you’re not immediately aware how to self check in. The house is very well decorated with cute vintage tins from things like sweets and biscuits. The common areas are big enough for everyone. Provided earplugs, mints, loofahs, face mask, she goes above and beyond. If you prefer to cook the upstairs kitchen has the essentials and there is a local bodega/corner store if you’re looking for snacks other than she provided. Other guests are quiet, respectful, and honestly is not an issue. Wonderful host, would like to book again in the future, thank you so much.”
This charming, newly remodeled cottage is conveniently located between Grafton and Alton, IL on top of the bluff, high above the Mississippi River and the Great River Road. This 2 bedroom cottage is in a private, woodland setting perfect for your bird and wildlife viewing. We have seen many eagles, turkey and deer. Although there is not WiFi in the house, there is a WiFI and River viewing area close by.
“The cabin was gorgeous!! SUPER clean, & sooo comfy. Most every amenity we needed was there. Pots, pans, cookware etc. even though there was just two of us… We never ran out of hot water… And the pressure was great. beds were super comfy. The place is a little bit of a hill both driving up to, and walking to. As well as steep stairs to the bedrooms. but nothing that was super difficult for normal bodied folks. HUGE yard, & property to walk around & explore. & we saw many local widlife during our stay (squirrels, chipmunks, cardinals & other birds, possums, frogs-tonns more :) ) Pam's place was super peaceful & private. Pam was super informative ahead of our stay. Gave detailed, easy to understand directions/instructions..& was available if we would have needed everything. (but again, everything we could've needed was stocked and provided) we look forward to returning sometime soon and staying again our next visit to the area!!”
