This beautiful home is only 15 minutes from I95. In July, typically the town hosts the best fireworks display in the state over the lake as part of their annual summer festival. The lake also has a great variety of fresh water fish. This is a great quiet location for a nice relaxing vacation.
“Heidi's space was very nice and very spacious. It is in a perfect location with very close access to the lake. Since I did have to do some remote work while I was there, the very fast wifi was an added bonus. I will for sure be returning once I am able to have a long weekend again!”
Home is located in a rural setting, has an open porch to enjoy the view, farm pond, and the many deer that visit the field across from the house. We are located in Central Maine, 7 miles from I-95, 25 miles from Bangor, 50 miles from Moosehead Lake, 71 miles from Acadia National Park and 150 miles from Mount Katahdin. We are extemely close to the ITS for those looking to ride ATV's or snowmobiles. We are a fifth generation farming operation specializing in potatoes.
“Maryanne’s place is a lil piece of gem where you can kick back and relax. It’s quite so if your trying to escape the huddle and bustle of city this is the place for you. Just a heads up there is nothing really close to it. Bar Harbor and Acadia are 1.5 hours away. This house make that drive worth it though and believe me best value for your money. We realized this when we got to bat harbor with their run down motels and super high price hotels. You can’t beat the value here.”
Brand new construction! Honey matched pine in living room, kitchen and hall including ceilings. Water view nestled in the woods. Access to pond frontage with fire pit. One hour: east of Sugarloaf, south of Moosehead, west of the coast, north of Augusta. Year round get away😊
“Clean and tidy, comfortable, pleasant, and it was a real sanctuary at the end of many long work days with a cozy bed. We stayed very late in the season, so early mornings were quite chilly, and we experienced power loss. Jane was kind to keep us informed and updated, however. My best advice to future guests is this; make 100% sure about the dates of your visit, and if there is the tiniest doubt or possibility of a change, get travel insurance. Airbnb is clunky and unforgiving with changes.”
