Located directly on the Harzer-Hexen-Stieg and a nature reserve, directly surrounded by river, rocks and a historic hydroelectric power station, you will find a unique accommodation on an extensive area. Here you can relax and enjoy the tranquility of nature. For more active days, a private universal sports field and a summer tent from April to October are available, or you can take advantage of other accommodation offers. Small apartment in the animal house

Welcome to the vacation room in the animal house. The cozy room offers you a sleeping niche in the half-timbering & a sofa bed, a private bathroom, a single kitchen for self-catering & a separate entrance. Our animal house is a meeting place for humans & animals, (horses, chickens, mini pigs, raccoons, dog & cats) From our location, you can make many excursions, whether in nature or culture & it is located on many hiking trails.

Witch Hut Right on the River

Rustic witch cabin overlooking the river from the cozy bed. A sitting area offers enough space to have a cozy breakfast or work with a view of nature. The entire house was made in solid construction by the carpenter. On the terrace right in front of the cottage you can also enjoy the river view outdoors wonderfully. Toilet and shower are located in the sanitary house 50m away. A sauna cottage can be used at an additional cost.

Our vacation home is centrally located and yet surrounded by greenery. In 10 minutes you can walk through the city forest (enclosure) to the city center and directly behind your home is Hohenrode Park. The immediate proximity to the Harz Mountains offers many opportunities for active vacation planning. We hope you feel comfortable in our lovingly furnished cottage. One free parking space is available right by the house.

The village of Hasselfelde is located in the middle of the Harz Nature Park on a high plateau, nestled in the impressive dam system of Bode and Rappbode, with a 190 km long well-signposted hiking trail network. Centrally located, you can reach many attractions and excursion destinations of the Harz Mountains.

In the middle of downtown Hasselfelde, you will find our vacation rental "Altes Uhrwerk" in an old half-timbered house. The name is reminiscent of the craft that was practiced here in the house until a few years ago.
