Beach and nature log cabin

A natural and relatively simple accommodation in a charming, timbered cottage on a forest and beach plot with access to lovely forest walks and swimming from the beach, cliffs and jetty. The cottage is located about 7 km from Västervik city center on a plot shared with our family (2 adults and 3 children aged 8-13 years) and our free-roaming dog. There is about 80 m of forest between the cottage and our house, so you live in relative seclusion with forest and sea bay as the nearest neighbor. At the same time, you pass our house on the way to the cottage and often meet up with the dog and host family who move around a lot on the property in the summers. You should appreciate nature and tranquility but you should not be afraid of people or dogs if you are going to enjoy yourself here :) The cottage is a simple timber cottage on 1 1/2 floors with a lot of charm and a lack of modernities in the form of TV. Here, the children can swim and play in the forest instead :) The property is a hilly forest plot, so unfortunately the accommodation is not very well adapted for disabled people. Pets are more than welcome as long as they work well with children and dogs. Well-behaved dogs are welcome to roam freely on the property if they get along well with our own farm dog :) Welcome to a relaxed and nature-oriented vacation at Västerbo!

Stay in the countryside. Now there is a possibility to rent an entire house from the 1800s in the countryside next to the lovely town of Loftahammar and its archipelago. There is room for 6 adults and 2 children. There are also boats to borrow free of charge. 3 km to grocery store, sea swimming, golf course, restaurants, gas station, pizzeria, ice cream bar and tourist office where you can rent bicycles and canoes. Bed linens and towels are not included in the base price. Costs SEK 100/p. final cleaning SEK 800. The ceiling height is 195 cm in some rooms and the doors are 165 and 180 cm.

The farmhouse

In a traditional small cottage with white knots on a farm in the village of Snörum, you can find peace regardless of the season. In the village, there are four farms. Good opportunities to hike to various natural attractions around. The climate is sunny and rainy, with a great impact on vegetation, with smaller trees near the coast. Småland mountainous, which is much liked by Apollo butterflies. It is -3 km to the bay of Syrsan, with opportunities for swimming from cliffs and beach. -6 km to Loftahammar with grocery store and various community services.

Nattstugan – charming accommodation by the church in Västervik

Stay in one of Västervik's oldest wooden houses, right next to St. Gertrude's Church, which dates back to at least the early 1700s. Nattstugan is an accommodation that exudes historic charm. The old loft apartment was carefully renovated by an architectural firm in the 1960s. The location is both central and peaceful, just a stone's throw from Storgatan and Stadsparken. The apartment can accommodate a family of up to four. In addition to a small kitchenette and bathroom, guests have access to a cozy stone-paved courtyard surrounded by the churchyard.

Cozy cottage on the coast

In this accommodation, you will have the opportunity to relax! The cottage is about 250 meters from the Baltic Sea where there is a boat that is included in the rent, there is also a sauna raft for lovely summer evenings! It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the sauna raft, you can drive almost all the way. It is about 7 km to the community of Loftahammar where there is an ICA supermarket, restaurants, golf course, outdoor gym, and more. 500 m away from the cottage is Hallmare camping where there is a beach and a small shop, mini golf and more.

Charming house on Gränsö with five bedrooms in two different houses on the same property, fireplace and sauna. There is a cozy outdoor room and a patio for relaxing evenings. You have access to a private jetty for swimming and fishing. Gränsö is a beautiful nature reserve with several hiking trails that offer fantastic views of both the forest and the coast. There is also proximity to Gränsö Castle, which offers a restaurant and spa. Perfect for those who want to enjoy nature, hike along the trails and experience a peaceful environment.

Relax in this unique and cozy home. Warm welcome to "129". Our guest house is located right by the sea, on a secluded part of our garden. Quiet, harmonious and peaceful. Swimming facilities are available. 2 km to Gränsö nature reserve with nice hiking trails, 3 km to Västervik city center. 1 km to Ekhagen golf course. Suitable for two or max three people. It is nice to dock by boat at our jetty if you want to bring a boat. Well-behaved dogs are welcome, but we would like them to sleep in their own bed.

Newly built guesthouse “Ludwig” in Västervik/Gränsö

Just a few minutes from central Västervik is the Gränsö Nature Reserve, a peninsula by the sea where nature takes centre stage. In a quiet area, we rent out our guest house with a partial view of the water and nature as our closest neighbour. Here, you wake up to a sparkling sea and birdsong, and fall asleep to the silence of the forest. There are several swimming areas, and the nearest one is about 150 metres from the guest house. You can start hiking trails right around the corner from the house.

Lakeside house on Gränsö

A modern, fully-equipped private house of 45 sqm in a scenic area. Living room with sofa bed, full kitchen and double upstairs. Patios in three directions, 100 meters to sea bathing and walking distance to Gränsö Castle. Ekhagen's golf course is about 2 km from the accommodation, and it is about a 30-minute walk to the center of Västervik. NOTE: Bring sheets/towels or rent them for a cost of SEK 150 each Guests are responsible for cleaning upon departure or paying SEK 500 for cleaning upon arrival.

Newly renovated garden house for 5 people

Our garden house is a newly renovated accomodation located close to baths, golf and nature with walking distance to the town centre-approximately 10-15 minutes. The house is equipped with a fridge, freezer, stove, oven and a microwave oven and all the kitchen utensils you might need. During the summer months you also have access to a barbecue. One bathroom with toilet and a shower cubicle. There are 5 beds; one king size bed, one bunk bed and one sofa bed. We wish you very welcome!

Cabin on a sea plot in Västervik's archipelago

In Västervik's archipelago is beautiful Gränsö, which is a peninsula and a nature reserve located about 5 km from the center of Västervik. Västervik became the summer city of the year in 2020. On a unique waterfront plot in one of Gränsö's best locations, we rent out our fresh 56 sqm cottage, from 2013. The cottage has 2 bedrooms + sleeping loft, kitchen and living room in an open plan with a fireplace. The cottage sleeps a total of 5 people. Toilet with shower and washing machine.

Resource in our cozy cottage, furnished with an eye for warm colors and soft materials. Lilla Stugan is located in the middle of the woods and meadows and has its own bathing area, sauna and boat. It is part of an old Swedish farmhouse on a 10 hectare property located between the lakes Rummelsrum and Hyttegöl. Get to know the rich fauna and flora directly from the terrace or during long walks in the area. After a dip in the lake, enjoy a barbecue on the attractively lit terrace.
