Vacation rentals with a kayak in Hawkesbury City Council

Lovely home, with a great big fenced yard which our dog loved. Cider and pizza right across the road. What more could you ask for?! We had a great time in Bilpin, thanks for having us Lichell.

We had a wonderful weekend at this beautiful waterfront Airbnb. The house is spacious, surrounded by greenery, and perfect for relaxing. The kitchen was well-equipped, which made cooking easy and enjoyable. The host was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Overall, it was a peaceful and refreshing getaway. Highly recommended!

Had the best staycation ever at Tim’s place!! It was truly one of my top fave air bnb’s ever!! The place itself was soo spacious and beautifully designed, it truly had so much to offer and more! Everything was very well organised and prepared upon my arrival and i was able to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and reconnect with nature again. I loved the jetty and even though it rained it was so cosy and warm inside when the fireplace was on, could put a movie on and truly relax! I can’t wait to be back again and would highly recommend The Treehouse for your next city escape and staycation!!

Fantastic stay and location. The private jetty with access to the Hawkesbury river made the trip. The house was comfortable with great communal space and a modern kitchen. Finally, Audrey was a great host. She was quick to respond to any communication and the listing matched the property. Would stay again.

Was a beautiful location and immaculate accommodation, children and parents loved the river access, besides a power outage it was a fantastic break away for our Easter trip Would highly recommend this property as it was serene

Lovely place for a bush getaway from Sydney. The previous reviews giving this place 1 star are ridiculous and an abuse of the rating system. Jason’s place is absolutely fine, situated beautifully on the Mangrove river, comfortable and quiet. We particularly enjoyed all of the resident parrots, a couple of King parrots spending most of our time on the balcony with us.

We had a great stay at Hestias place. It was close to Sydney but felt very private and quiet and we really enjoyed the access to the nearby river and amazing star gazing at night. Would recommend.

Peaceful, homely and unique stay. Our son and dog absolutely loved the place and it’s a great place to escape the busyness of life and reconnect with nature and each other. Tessa was quick and friendly and the check in process was simple. It’s a lovely area and community and the church is unique and fully equipped to cater perfectly to families, couples and pets :) we will be back! Thank you Tessa and family x

The Cottage is a quaint, clean comfortable waterside pad in which to enjoy the truly tranquil surrounds of Berowra Waters. Sue was a terrific, warm and friendly host. We were grateful for the pick up service, kayaks, tinnie and tips. Well stocked kitchen and lots of games. Highly recommended.

It was very easy dealing with Stephanie from booking to check out. Very welcoming and the cottage was clean and tidy. Beautiful property with horses and other live stock which we were free to interact with. We took our 2 dogs who had plenty of space to run around in the enclosed area in front of the cottage and the neighbouring paddock (free of other animals). Great experience and one I highly recommend.

I really enjoyed my stay — the house is in a peaceful and quiet location, which makes it a perfect getaway from the busy Sydney lifestyle, and it's only about 1.5 hours away. The surroundings are beautiful and relaxing, and waking up to the sound of nature was such a nice change of pace. The area feels very safe, and the view from the property is stunning. I definitely recommend!

We had a lovely stay at Ann's property. Beautiful view and surrounds that we enjoyed exploring. Easy access to the river, was a great spot for fishing. We had our 2 dogs, they had the best time and didn't want to get in the car to go home! There is a rental property next door with a couple of dogs but they are very well behaved and it all still felt very private. Thanks for your hospitality Ann we'll be back!

Ben and Samantha have a beautiful and relaxing cabin on the Hawkesbury river. We had a great stay there and enjoyed waterskiing and using the amenities offered by the park. Their cabin was pristine and had all out family needed. We will come back!

Leigh was a great host. She allowed us to check in earlier. The place was very quiet and peaceful. Beautiful birds and wildlife in the area. Very cosy and comfortable property.

We had a lovely stay at Astrid’s riverside cabin. It was a lovely, secluded weekend away. We enjoyed kayaking on the river and Col who did the boat transfers for us was fantastic as well. Would highly recommend as a couples getaway.

Staying on the river was paradise. It was beautiful - especially from the deck! My only two suggestions is to share there is no wifi and that the beds are pushed up against a wall. Also, at least for us, there was no data connection. We were able to go into town and use the cafe wifi, but if we had seen in advance (there was a message about no wifi at the bottom of the description), we would have prepared better for working remotely. Also for older people, the beds only allow one person to get out and the other person has a wall they sleep along. Other than these two minor items that can be communicated in the description, the accommodation, the location and all of the extras are excellent. We enjoyed the bbq, the kayaks, the hammock and the firepit. Everything was comfortable and the a/c was helpful sleeping at night when there was a controlled burn. We definitely recommend staying here.

Such a beautiful airbnb and was stocked with all the essentials we needed. Kathryn was super helpful and attentive during our stay. My partner and kids fell in love with the place. The airbnb itself is very spacious and cosy with an amazing view. The beds were so soft and comfy and we loved how clean and tidy the place was.
