Vacation rentals with a firepit in Hawkesbury River

We stayed at Scott’s place for a night whilst visiting Glenworth Valley. It’s in a beautiful location and feels rustic and in flow with the natural outdoors. The hot tub is a nice edition and the fire pit is great for winter. The kitchen is slightly dated, but adequately equipped. The separate bedroom and bathroom are a really nice edition. Scott is great with communication and his friends welcomed us really warmly when we arrived.

Heidi's Bella Farm was exceptional. The house was clean, cosy and had all the amenities you need to enjoy a relaxing experience. The location is literally near everything by a short drive. Heidi was always super helpful when requesting information. I can't recommend it highly enough. We'll definitely be back.

We had a wonderful long weekend in this beautiful private setting with good friends. It could not have been better, location was fantastic and catching the train to Blackheath for the day and back to Sydney was an adventure and very easy. The jacuzzi was a big bonus after walking all day in the wilderness. The house is immaculate with a lovely large garden. We heard Wombats at night and lots of birds during the day, a real wee slice of paradise.

We loved Naomi's place and we've stayed in many Airbnbs across the world for over 10 yrs. It's where we'll stay if we return to Shoal Bay. The house sits in an area where locals live but feels like a dedicated vacation home once you're there. The vibe was as pictured - bright, white, clean and stylish. Not "lived in" or cluttery, as if you're just borrowing someone's personal home. We have two teens so I intentionally gave up beach proximity for space, style, and price. The perks were more than worth it for our situation and we still walked to the beaches anyway because they aren't that far for adults who can carry their own stuff. Probably wouldn't brave it with toddlers without a beach cart and stroller. Outdoor showers, fire pit, large yard, stylish interior, comfy beds , linens provided, great bathrooms, ease of entry, quick reponse time with questions, all at the price point we needed. Zero complaints.

It’s a rare gem! Love at 1st sight. Close to nature, peaceful surroundings and beautiful landscape. 15min drive away to amenities. Host is kind and accommodating. The house is lovely, very clean and well maintained! We are a family of 4 and we really enjoyed our stay! Indoor is cosy and outdoor view is relaxing! Every evening we get sunset view and enjoyed looking at the stars. Definitely a great place to unwind!

Most beautiful place we've ever stayed. amazing views, beautiful interior and kangaroos at dawn and dusk. Very close to the main town/ wineries. 100% will come again!

We had an amazing stay. The house is absolutely beautiful and grand and furnished with intriguing period pieces that added a nice touch. It was comfortable and warm with plenty of space for everyone to enjoy. The kitchen had everything needed to prepare our meals. Most important of all, it was very clean! It was a pleasure to stay. We had a fantastic stay at the Canyons Retreat: Denise gave us a great welcome and excellent local recommendations. The accommodation was exactly as described, not overly luxurious, it offered great comfort and charm, a retreat in the mountain. Outstanding lounge room, perfect for relaxing on rainy days and plenty of space. The kitchen was enough to cook a nice breakfast with a single burner, maybe not enough to cook a bigger meal. I would recommend this place for couples seeking privacy and connection to the bush. Thanks for having us!

We stayed here with our three daughters, over Easter 2025. What a gorgeous place, in the best location. Five minutes walk down to the bridge and Circular Quay, and only a few minutes walk to the Barangaroo harbour pool, a hidden gem which our children loved. So easy to jump on the ferry to take you to Luna Park, Taronga Zoo, or any of the beautiful bays for lunch. The home was spotless, beautifully furnished and well equipped with everything we needed. So nice not to be cramped into one or two hotel rooms. This was such a lovely place to reside for a week. We are booking for next year too. Host was responsive and helpful. Thank you Jan!

Yantra's place was a peaceful hideaway tucked away in Avoca. The place was clean and well maintained yet cozy, had all the amenities we needed (portable stove, pots and pans, oil, utensils, washing machine, internet, dryer). The outdoor sitting area was comfortable and overlooked the beautiful garden. The place colourful and full of personality, we felt very at home during our stay. Thank you again.

This two-bedroom suite is gorgeous and it is located within the heart of Hunter Valley near to the popular wineries, restaurants and shops in Pokolbin. The best thing about this property is the view overlooking vineyards with lots of wild kangaroos roaming around. The downside about the rooms is the lack of black-out curtains if you are a light sleeper/travelling with kids. The rooms are very bright in the morning as there's a window at the top with light streaming in.

You won't find a more pleasant place to stay in south west Sydney. Great hosts, great location, wonderful accommodation. Would highly recommend.

my dog Delta and I had the best time staying at Jacaranda cabin. Fiona was most accommodating and respected our privacy through our stay. I highly recommend this stay if you are looking to escape the world and be surrounded by beautiful nature. My dog was most welcome and great to have her by my side.

Gina was a lovely host, very responsive, left clear instructions and presented a clean, unique and cozy cabin accommodation. Me and my wife spent 3 nights over the Anzac 2025 long weekend with our two cattle dogs and loved that it was pet friendly, close to the cider houses (Bilpin & Hillbilly Cider), private and overall a beautiful property. It had its own undercover parking spot as well which made it easy to come and go even when raining. If we are ever stay in the Bilpin area again we will definitely remember the Cozy Cabin or recommend to friends!

Antonina was a lovely host, who responded straight away to any questions we had. The home was just as described very beautiful with lovely surroundings. We felt so relaxed in this beautiful private surroundings. Would definitely recommend and we will hopefully be coming back in Easter.

Loved our stay at June’s little private sanctuary. We absolutely loved the privacy and tranquility. Wallabies were adorable and it was definitely surreal waking up to them at our deck, patiently waiting for food. King parrots were beautiful. We enjoyed the short bush walk, though it was definitely tougher than it looks and offered a good challenge (take this city girl’s words with a pinch of salt for the experienced bush walkers!) We were initially intimidated by the drive in but managed it with a normal sedan. Definitely emerged well recharged. Well recommend it for anyone who needs a break from the city!

Michael was a fabulous host - very helpful, responsive and accommodating. The location is so peaceful and the accommodation itself is well-equipped and stylish. It is off-grid but still offered little luxuries which we appreciated. I particularly liked the cookware and kitchen amenities - we cooked every night for a family of 4 and the place didn't lack anything in that regard. The bbq, woodfire hot tub and fire pit were the highlights of the accommodation. Thank you Michael - we would love to book your place again in the future!

An incredible Airbnb with such friendly hosts!! The space is very cozy, clean and well kept. Our favourite part was definitely the fire pit, we used it every night and it was so relaxing to sit around after a long day of exploring. Both Raphaël and Maxine were super lovely, super responsive to any questions and even gave us a try of their home made alcohol. The dogs were super cute, they loved sitting around the fire with us at night and definitely love a pat hahaha The space itself is nice and private, although I would note that the outside is connected to their backyard - which isn’t a bad thing, just good to note if you want complete privacy.
