The kiln is still preserved, and the tall chimney is also a scenic feature.Going forward is the two small wooden doors close to the side of the road, a bit old.Entering the door and stepping under your feet is the floor before preparation, as it is precious only a small piece of space in front of the door.There is also a corridor in front of the side store and a part of the exterior wall.Because the overall structure is wooden, the doors and windows are also made of quaint kraft paper.The moment you go up the stairs into the room, it's a fluttered tatami scent.Very Japanese style.Dreaming into a different life on a tatami. [Aozora] Quiet, private rental on a hill / 12-minute walk from the Naoshima Ferry / Uno Port

We aim to provide accommodation where travellers visiting Japan from abroad can stay with peace of mind. It is a private rental accommodation that has been arranged to be a space where you can relax while retaining the warmth of traditional wood. We renovated an old house on a hill overlooking the Seto Inland Sea with our own hands over a period of two years, and we run it as a couple. The facilities are simple, and there are no services like in a hotel or inn, but it is popular with those who want to relax in nature. It can accommodate up to 6 guests and is recommended for groups and families. It is about 18 minutes on foot from Uno Station and 12 minutes on foot from the ferry terminal, making it an ideal base for trips to Naoshima and the Setouchi Art Triennale. It is a 10-minute walk to the Merca shopping mall and a 2-minute walk to the FamilyMart Tamano Uno store. There is a contracted parking space for one vehicle a 2-minute walk from the foot of the mountain. Our accommodation is located on a hill about 60 meters above the foot of the mountain, accessible only on foot. You will need to climb a slightly steep path, but you will have a refreshing sense of accomplishment when you arrive, and you can spend a quiet time surrounded by nature.

This house is built on the quiet seaside in Shodoshima Town. The house was built just for dusk watching the sea and the sunset.Therefore, I apologize for the large number of stairs on the terrace, but I can never call it barrier-free.(I will do my best to help with my luggage, etc.) However, at the end of the high terrace, there is a glittering, calm and beautiful sea in Setouchi, and a kane-colored sunset that changes faces every day. Forget your time and enjoy the extraordinary. *We are currently not allowing pets to stay at the property. Please contact us before booking to request them. The interior is accessed by climbing the terrace stairs.It is not handicap accessible. Please be sure to accompany small children or adults when climbing up and down the stairs. Also, on rainy days, there are many stairs, so it may be inconvenient. The road in front of the accommodation is not paved. Please note that this may be an inconvenience. There is a lot of nature around the inn, so there are definitely insects.Sometimes insects come in together when opening and closing windows and doors.(Especially at night, insects gather in the light of the inn) We are very sorry, but please refrain from staying if you are not good with insects.
