“Great little place in the Hedgesville area. The hosts are very nice and communicative, and the space is very clean with great amenities. Don’t miss the Devil’s Nose hike only 10 minutes away! I would only note two things that weren’t immediately obvious – - The cabin is in a rural area close to nature, but it’s part of a larger development near a golf course. We weren’t bothered by noise or anything; just something to note if you’re looking for complete seclusion. - The kitchen has a stovetop and plenty of cooking supplies, but no oven.”

“Charity’s place is a lovely, peaceful retreat. The cabin is very comfortable, clean and welcoming. There were cold waters and an assortment of snacks waiting for us. We very much enjoyed the deck with the fire basket at night. VERY relaxing and peaceful. It is obvious that Charity cares about her guests and their comfort and she also quickly responds to any questions. This is an incredible value. You can not go wrong. We had a much appreciated break from DC at Charity’s lovely cabin in the woods!”

“This place really is spectacular in every way. We chose it for a weekend getaway from the world, for our 5 year anniversary, and it fit everything we were looking for! The location is stunning — directly across from the Potomac, right in the middle of nature, but what surprised us most was the town it was located near — Shepherdstown was an absolutely amazing little place! The hosts provided us with some information on places within the town and we took advantage of that — the town was warm, friendly, full of decorations for support during COVID and Pride Month, and the history of its welcoming nature was awesome to learn! As for the Airbnb itself — the place was incredibly cute. We loved sitting on the balcony every morning drinking tea and drinking wine at night, we loved all the books, games, and dvds, and all of the little meaningful touches that made it a great house to stay in. It would be hard to name everything we enjoyed about our stay, but from the hosts, to the location, to the house itself, 100%, 10/10 recommended for anyone looking for a great stay!”
