The apartment is located on the second floor with a spacious terrace and views of the countryside. The kitchen is fully equipped. The separate bedroom with double bed (200 × 200 cm) is connected to the light-flooded living room with sofa bed (130 × 200 cm). The bathroom with walk-in shower and all other rooms are accessible.

Das Sonnenhaus verfügt über ein Wohnzimmer mit Schlafcouch, ein Schlafzimmer und eine Wohnküche mit Kamin und ein ganz neu gebautes Badezimmer. Im Wohnzimmer und in der Küche gibt es je einen Kaminofen zum heizen. Badezimmer und die Küche können auch elektrisch geheizt werden.

The apartment is only about 300 meters from the famous hiking trail 'Eifelsteig.' Shopping such as Aldi, Lidl, Rewe are only about 2.5 km away. Furthermore, the accommodation is quietly located on the edge of the forest with meadows right behind the house. The historic town center is within 10 minutes' walking distance.

This allows you to enjoy the special location in the middle of the nature of the old forest worker's house, while being only 900 m from the town of Mechernich. The house is located directly on a bike path and thus offers a good starting point for bike tours in the region.
