Beach cottage wood sauna Vihti Huhmarjärvi

Bara bada bastu and mind rest! Traditional Finnish cottage from the 50s in Vihdi Huhmarjärvi, 38km from Helsinki. The cottage is on the water line and the balcony is on the water. A wonderful, newly renovated log sauna with gentle steam. No neighbors right next door. The cottage is not suitable for small children or people with limited mobility, as there are big height differences and stairs. There is no mains supply or sewer in the cottage. There may be algae in the lake at some point in the summer, but you can get clean water from the borehole in the house

Our guest house is a 9-square-meter yard building, where you will find basic kitchen utensils. There is an outdoor toilet at the back of the house and a wood-heated sauna next to it. The atmosphere is also brought by a wood-fired grill. The room has a radiator for cool nights and a fan for heat. The old henhouse will stay quite cool even on the hottest days. We and our neighbors have dogs, so your dogs are welcome too. Keep in mind that dogs can make noise during the day. The room height in the yard building is 195 cm.

Seaside cottage

The seaside cottage is by the sea. The view is really nice as it looks at the sea all the way to the horizon. You can go for nice walks or swimming. Perhaps in the winter on a walk on the ice. Perfect spot if you have your fishing gear with you, or a canoe or SUP-board. The cottage works well for family, couples or just traveling alone. The place is also fine with small pets that do not shed. A sauna and reasonable amount of wood free of charge to warm up the sauna and smoker +fireplace outside.

Enjoy silence, forest tracks in nature, fresh air and sauna with outdoor hot tube. The private log cabin is located in a peaceful and quiet neighborhood close to my main house. It is about 25 min from the airport, and 30 min from Helsinki center by car. Supermarkets are just 5 min away by car. Able to fit up to 4 persons (double bed on the loft + separate bedroom). Woods to sauna are included, hot tube for additional request and charge.
