Close to sports facilities, outdoor park and hiking trail. And you have Sulafjellet not far away with a built up mountain trail and many different hiking destinations. Excellent starting point for day trips throughout the region.

Free parking in parts of Kirkegata. From August 1, 2026, we can offer free parking in the parking lot at Nedre Strandgate 38. Access from Øvre Strandgate, the street parallel to Kirkegata. Enjoy the fantastic view from this idyllic granary located on Valderøya outside Ålesund. The granary is over a hundred years old, but it has been renovated. NOTE: The granary has electricity, but no running water or toilet. Guests can use the shower and toilet in the main house, which is 30 m away. The bathroom in the main house is used only by you guests, and access to the rest of the main house is restricted. There are 5 litres of water available in the refrigerator. Your parking space is in front of our house, and you go down an exterior staircase to your entrance. The entry has a big wardrobe. Next is the modern and fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom has a shower and washer dryer combo. Down the hallway is a bedroom with a 150x200cm bed and a big closet, and a living room with a sofa bed that pulls out to 140x200cm and a crib.
