“This cottage is a lovely place on the Veluwe! You are really away from all the hustle and bustle and it is ideal as a base for all kinds of activities such as walking, cycling, eating out and Walibi. Sina's tip for an ice cream at Rozenboom was also great! The house itself is located in a nice woodland garden and is fully equipped. We slept, cooked and lay in the hammock here. The interior is also super cute and cared for in detail! Definitely a place to come back again :).”
This picturesque, complete and carefully renovated old bakehouse (from around 1850) is a 15-minute walk from Heerder beach, with its own entrance and private terrace. The B&B is open from May 2019. The grounds are surrounded by meadows with cows and horses that guard the tranquility of this special place. Directly in front of the house is a beautiful little stream with a bridge which gives the whole a fairy-tale image.
“This is a really lovely house, so nicely decorated and a gem to see with the thatched roof. The area is also great for cycling and many nice villages nearby. We had a picnic on the IJssel and sat in the sun along the waterfront. The bed slept wonderfully and the shower is spacious and very clean. A fantastic place, highly recommended.”

“As soon as you enter Fareen’s house, the “wow” factor kicks in. It’s even better than the pictures. Cozy and welcoming, with a firepit in the living room, windows all around to bring in light and the outdoor scenery, all the cooking equipment you could need, and a record player with a nice assortment of vinyls in various genres. The grounds around the house really made it feel like you are in the middle of the woods! Had a really relaxing stay, and would recommend Fareen’s place for a nice, peaceful getaway “in the woods”.”
