Vacation rentals in Heteren

We had a fantastic time at this Airbnb! From the moment of arrival, we were welcomed super warmly. Tessa really took the time to welcome us and gave us, among other things, a great tip for a fun activity in the area, perfectly tailored to our stay with our son. The location is really beautiful: in a rural location between the meadows, with a cozy farm atmosphere and many animals nearby — something our son enjoyed immensely! There were plenty of play facilities available, so he didn't get bored for a moment. The beds also slept wonderfully; we really went home fully rested. Everything was clean and cared for. In short: a wonderful place where you can enjoy nature, peace and hospitality. Thank you!!

This was a great time at Marieke's. The accommodation is superb, very easy to access and a supermarket is a short walk away. Marieke is a host full of attention to feel good, she recommended us nice walks to do with our dog.

Having a bedroom with wide-open doors overlooking an endless field where sheep graze and lambs run really hits different in spring. 10/10 recommend to anyone.

The host (or rather his wife) is very friendly. The place is really nice, high ceiling, with a large balcony and spacious kitchen. The bathroom is not huge, but very functional. There are appliances for longer stays (washing machine, dishwasher), as well as ovens and dishes. The living room is bright and large and since the bed is retractable, it is possible to enjoy it well. It was also interesting to see one of these typical houses from the interior. The neighborhood is very nice and close to the train station and the city center. Heleen lent me a bike to get around faster and “Dutch” 😉 and gave me practical advice on nearby shops and restaurants. It was a very successful stay and I am fully satisfied!

The cottage was as described. Very quiet, very well slept, everything you needed was available. The communication was great, friendly and quick. It made me feel at home. Recommend!

We were very warmly welcomed by Ageeth. Our place was very cozy and it had everything you need and very clean and tidy. The breakfast was very tasty and Ageeth asked what we still need for the next day and then brought us something again. If we come near Dodewaard again, we will definitely ask Ageeth again.

Nice place in good location. It has everything you need. The bed is very comfortable. There are many things to do in the area, e.g. the zoo is only 2 minutes away. The whole area is very nice. Tonny was very nice and check-in and check-out very flexible. Only that we had to clean ourselves was something unfamiliar. We usually enjoy not having to do that on vacation. :) But it was also no problem, it is also in the description and you can get through quickly with the small apartment. Overall a clear recommendation for the beautiful apartment with very nice hostess.

They were very hospitable and helpful. We were able to check in at 9pm on the day we arrived because Schiphol airport is quite far away and we could only get there by taking 1 metro and 2 buses. We were hungry and they brought us snacks and were really helpful. The house is a bit cold to use in these seasons but it can be heated with the help of the stove. Everything was great.
