Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Hilltops Council

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful retreat. The Convent was clean and thoughtfully presented, making it feel like a home away from home, perfect to accommodate large groups. We loved our stay, relaxing in the peaceful gardens with the birds chirping, spending mornings on the deck sipping a cup of tea and evenings enjoying a bbq with breathtaking sunset views. Conveniently located within walking distance to the town centre and close by to other popular towns, local eateries and wineries. Our hosts, Joshua and James were fantastic - responsive, informative and welcoming. The house was well equipped with everything you need and the beds were very comfortable with super crisp linen. Multiple split systems throughout made for a very comfortable stay. We appreciated the generous and thoughtful welcome gift, including local produce and champagne which we loved. Highly recommend for a quiet weekend away to recharge and relax.

Clean and tidy house, felt at home instantly.

Excellent place to stay at. The place was exactly what we needed except when we arrived, only 2 of the listed 3 bathrooms were available. This was outside Bilal’s control as one of the bathrooms had issues around Christmas time making it hard to get trades to come in a fix in time. There were some small bugs around the house but this is all part of nature when you’re in the country so no big deal at all! The house was beautiful and exactly as described. It was well equipped for us to enjoy some family meals in.

Thank you , Sarah for hosting us! Wonga Homestead was welcoming, comfortable and beautifully situated in gardens with a fabulous pool. There was plenty of room for all of us to come together but also to have quiet time. Communication was clear, responsive and helpful. We did not have any concerns or trouble staying at the house. We enjoyed our stay, relaxing in and by the pool, playing in the gardens and going into town for shops and to wander. A lovely getaway. A beautiful house to base yourself to explore our wonderful country.

Central location, cosy home, had everything needed for our two young children

The ambience and setup was very comfortable including enclosed outdoor yard/seating area. The only thing is the traffic on the highway is audible in bedroom but they provide earplugs which do the job. Beds are extremely comfortable and warm. Very clean and comfortable stay. The cottage was easy to find and the directions that were given, were easy to follow. The cottage and location looks just like the photos! The yard is fully fenced and very dog friendly but the fence is quite low and large dogs could easily jump the fence. If your pooches likes to jump fences, please be mindful of that. It is a working farm and there are sheep roaming freely close by. They come right up to the fence line sometimes. The cottage was clean and had everything that we needed, from dishes to serving bowls, forks to knives, pots and pans, tongs, spatula and even a whisk! The bathroom /laundry was very spacious! It was also equipped with an iron and ironing board, vacuum cleaner and even a hair dryer. Both humans and 2 large pooches enjoyed our stay there and hopefully will stay there again soon. if travelling to Yass, this place is a little gem.its in a quiet street. it is very private and the granny flat has all the luxuries from home. we woke up to the sound of a few magpies, which made us feel like your miles from anywhere. we have put this on our list of favourite places , and will definitely recommend this place to anyone travelling to Yass. James is a great host and very responsive.

A beautiful country cottage with all the comforts of home. Loved the cosy bedding, big shared dining table and the outside fire pit for toasting marshmallows in the evening.
