“This was our second stay with Mary & Lance and it was just as great as the first time. We stay to go riding at mount snow (only 45 mins away) but conditions were too warm so we ending up coming back early going for a nice walk at Fort Dummer park right up the block. It was perfect! Had good food and beer at the brewery in town but their home is the perfect location to explore other towns near by. The apartment is so clean and the fireplace makes it so cozy. The snacks and coffee are also super appreciated!100% recommend a stay here!!! :)”

“I booked Rosalind’s barn cabin for a little under a week, and my dog Brewster and I had a great stay filled with hiking and snowboarding, the dog only participating in the former. The cabin is private and the welcoming landscape accompanied the living space. Just as welcoming were Rosalind and Robert and their dogs who greeted with tails wagging. We did a few cool walks. The walk through Newfane town and up to the cemetary, through the stone wall, and around the pond was very scenic, and i’m happy i got to see all of it. We also did a hike in Townshend State Park, along the snowy trail which ran beside the creek. A sight to behold. Just above the state park there is a Jamaican food truck in the parking lot of a glass art gallery. I had some delightful jerk 🐔 there. Stratton is a great mountain resort for 🎿/🏂 and has a superb village and some of Vermont's nicest runs, at least in my somewhat limited experience. Can’t go wrong with this cabin 👌🏻”

“Pretty good place. If you don’t want a typical motel in the Brattleboro area, this cute and cozy mini cabin will do the trick. It could use a little work on the craftsmanship (walls need extra reinforcing, painting) and the door should be able to be locked from the outside. I’d also add that you should definitely make sure You have a 4WD or AWD car if you’re staying here. The dirt road leading up to it is quite muddy and difficult to navigate if you don’t have a capable car. Other than that I wish there was running water and a fireplace, but since Chuck was upfront about that stuff, this place met my expectations. I don’t recommend this place for someone over 6 feet tall and over 250 pounds.”
