Our four studio apartments—Chestnut, Maple, Linden, and Birch—combine the historic charm of Herbsthausen with modern simplicity. Each apartment is completely unique and has been lovingly modernized by us. The chestnut can accommodate two to four people. The apartments are part of “Herbsthausen,” a cultural project in beautiful Gartow. We are renovating a historic sawmill to create a future-oriented space for art, industrial heritage, living, working, international exchange, and recreation.

Spaziergänge, Radtouren, Vogelbeobachtung, Picknick am Elbestrand, Badesee oder Therme mit Saunalandschaft (8 km entfernt). Großer "liebevoll verwilderter" Garten, komplett umzäunt, mit Schwimmteich, Terrasse, Feuerkorb, Liegestühlen etc. Ihr wohnt auf großzügigen 140qm mit Wintergarten, 3 Schlafzimmern, 2 Bädern + Gästetoilette und voll ausgestatteter Küche.

Time out in the forest with an oven and sauna!

In the middle of the forest, on a clearing, 3 km from the beautiful town of Gartow, lies our special retreat. If you are looking for peace and quiet in nature and value simplicity and goodness, this is the place. The old half-timbered building, a former stable, was renovated with high quality and sustainably with natural materials. Clay plaster on the walls and the wood-burning stove guarantee an excellent indoor climate, and the walk to the wood-fired sauna promises absolute relaxation!

Natur Nest Nemitz – Living in a converted stable

Our new, charming and lovingly furnished apartment is located in a former stable building of the old farm, just 700 m from the Nemitz Heath. The 60 sqm are divided into a kitchen, hallway, bathroom, a bedroom/living room and a beautiful wooden terrace - ideal for couples or solo travelers, suitable for a maximum of 3 people. Wallbox and bicycle shed are provided. On request, 1–2 horses can be accommodated (€20/night) – ideal for unforgettable star rides in great nature.

Tiny house with sauna and meditation offer

During your stay with us you will live in a lovingly restored, spacious construction trailer with terrace and garden area. It is also set up for long stays. In winter, it is heated with wood and briquettes and it quickly becomes cozy and warm. Running cold water is only available in the trailer during the frost-free period! Horses can be brought along, 1 hectare. coupling directly on the trailer. The bathroom area and sauna are 50 m from the main house.

Sit back and relax – in this quiet, stylish accommodation you can make yourself really comfortable and switch off from the stress of everyday life... The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, a shower room, and can accommodate up to 4 people. It is important to know that the double bed in the attic can be reached via the stairs shown in the picture. All skylights are equipped with solar shutters, can accordingly keep out heat and completely darken.

Für exzessive Partys ist unser Hof leider nicht geeignet. Unser Haus wurde ca. 1850 erbaut. Wohnhaus & Scheune des denkmalgeschützten 3-Seiten-Hofs sind im Eichen-Fachwerk errichtet. Um das Haus stehen 10 Hochzeitslinden. Im November, wenn die Linden zurückgeschnitten sind, ist das Haus in seiner ganzen Pracht zu sehen. Ab Mai verschwindet es dann langsam hinter schattenspendendem Blätterwerk, und bleibt so den ganzen Sommer über herrlich kühl...

The apartment has a large and cozy living area with an integrated kitchen. There are two bedrooms, each with a double bed. As an option for another sleeping place, a sofa bed is available in the living room. Two more mattress sleeping places are on the upper level. The bright and spacious bathroom has a shower and toilet. The apartment is located on the upper floor of our house. A sunny seating area with a grill is available in the garden.
