Birken Cottage - Holidays in the Herbsthausen sawmill

Our three one-room apartments — Ahorn, Linde, and Birke — combine the historic charm of Herbsthausen with contemporary design. Each apartment is completely unique and has been modernized by us. They offer space for two to three people each. The apartments are part of “Herbsthausen”, an cultural project in the town of Gartow. We are renovating a historic sawmill and transforming it into a future-oriented place for art, industrial heritage, living, working, international exchange, and relaxation.

Wellness an der Elbe: Trainieren wie im Studio, saunieren wie in Finnland, radeln direkt am Elberadweg: Unser denkmalgeschütztes Fachwerkhaus (75–90 m², bis 5 Pers.) hat, was sonst kaum eine Ferienwohnung bietet – ein eigenes, fast rund um die Uhr nutzbares Gym mit Beinpresse, Kabelzug & Hanteln bis 30 kg. Danach: finnische Sauna, Garten, Sternenhimmel. Räder und Kanus mieten, Elbe genießen, im UNESCO-Biosphärenreservat abschalten. Auf halber Strecke Hamburg–Berlin. Gym ab 3 Nächten kostenfrei!

Willkommen in unserer stilvollen Ferienwohnung – ideal für Familien, Gruppen und Freunde. Die 2022 fertiggestellte Unterkunft bietet auf ca. 170 m² modernen Wohnkomfort. Euch erwarten ein großzügiger, offener Wohn- und Essbereich mit voll ausgestatteter Küche, vier separate Schlafzimmer, zwei Bäder sowie ein Schlafsofa für zwei weitere Gäste. Platz für bis zu 10 Personen. Highlight ist der helle Wohnbereich mit hoher Decke, offenem Fachwerk und verglastem Tennentor mit Blick auf den Dorfplatz.

Das Haus liegt mitten im Biosphärenreservat "Flusslandschaft Elbe" am Rand eines kleinen Dorfes nur einen Steinwurf vom Fluß entfernt. Spaziergänge, Radtouren, Vogelbeobachtung, Picknick am Elbestrand, Badesee oder Therme mit Saunalandschaft (8 km entfernt). Großer "liebevoll verwilderter" Garten, komplett umzäunt, mit Schwimmteich, Terrasse, Feuerkorb, Liegestühlen etc. Ihr wohnt auf großzügigen 140qm mit Wintergarten, 3 Schlafzimmern, 2 Bädern + Gästetoilette und voll ausgestatteter Küche.

Time out in the forest with an oven and sauna!

In the middle of the forest, on a clearing, 3 km from the beautiful town of Gartow, lies our special retreat. If you are looking for peace and quiet in nature and value simplicity and goodness, this is the place. The old half-timbered building, a former stable, was renovated with high quality and sustainably with natural materials. Clay plaster on the walls and the wood-burning stove guarantee an excellent indoor climate, and the walk to the wood-fired sauna promises absolute relaxation!

Natur Nest Nemitz – Living in a converted stable

Our new, charming and lovingly furnished apartment is located in a former stable building of the old farm, just 700 m from the Nemitz Heath. The 60 sqm are divided into a kitchen, hallway, bathroom, a bedroom/living room and a beautiful wooden terrace - ideal for couples or solo travelers, suitable for a maximum of 3 people. Wallbox and bicycle shed are provided. On request, 1–2 horses can be accommodated (€20/night) – ideal for unforgettable star rides in great nature.

Willkommen in unserem liebevoll eingerichteten Ferienhaus im kleinen Ort Seedorf, mitten in der wunderschönen Lenzener Elbtalaue. Erlebt pure Erholung und Entschleunigung in der idyllischen Westprignitz. Eingebettet in eine artenreiche Naturlandschaft, bietet unser Ferienhaus alles für einen entspannten Urlaub – inklusive großem Garten und Zugang zum Wasser. Die perfekte Auszeit für Naturliebhaber, Familien und Freunde, Radfahrer und Erholungssuchende.

Für exzessive Partys ist unser Hof leider nicht geeignet. Unser Haus wurde ca. 1850 erbaut. Wohnhaus & Scheune des denkmalgeschützten 3-Seiten-Hofs sind im Eichen-Fachwerk errichtet. Um das Haus stehen 10 Hochzeitslinden. Im November, wenn die Linden zurückgeschnitten sind, ist das Haus in seiner ganzen Pracht zu sehen. Ab Mai verschwindet es dann langsam hinter schattenspendendem Blätterwerk, und bleibt so den ganzen Sommer über herrlich kühl... 

Natur & Sauna am Elbdeich – A modern home

Vogelgezwitscher statt Verkehrslärm, die Elbe direkt vor der Haustür und Sonnenuntergänge über den Wiesen: Unser liebevoll saniertes Haus liegt in einem kleinen Dorf mit nur acht Häusern mitten im Biosphärenreservat Niedersächsische Elbtalaue. Freut euch auf einen großen Garten mit Obstbäumen, Sauna, Feuertonne und viel Platz für gemeinsame Zeit inmitten der Natur. Ein Ort zum Durchatmen, Abschalten und Ankommen.
