In the immediate vicinity there are numerous opportunities for hiking or cycling and in summer the Hohenwarte reservoir invites you to swim. Various shopping facilities are in the village – including Supermarket, bakery and pharmacy. The train station is 1.5 km from the house.

Relax and Play Rödental

Our cozy apartment is ideal for couples or small families and can accommodate up to 10 sleeping guests. (6 of them in a 2nd apartment on the upper floor from the 5th guest) For social evenings with friends, colleagues or family, there is a pool table, a music system and a cozy bar. The 39-degree warm hot tub is available all year round and is included. The use of the barrel sauna can be booked. Unfortunately, the hot tub in the SZ is not working.

Alte Bäckerei - Old Bakery Center Saalfed Design

When master baker Hans Lange settled here in Saalfed in 1546 with the secret Nuremberg gingerbread recipe, no one could have guessed that his business would continue for 19 generations. We, as the 20th generation, cannot bake as well as our ancestors, but we would like to welcome you instead to our former bakery shop and thus continue the family tradition in a slightly different form. Vacation home in the countryside

Barrier-free apartment in our single-family house in rural idyll in East Thuringia near the Saale dams, the Plothener ponds on the A9 exactly between Berlin and Munich. The Saalfeld fairy grottoes, the Leuchtenburg near Kahla, Jena, Gera, Weimar are not too far away. Here you can hike (the roads are also wheelchair accessible), watch animals or simply relax on the terrace. Infants up to 2 years old and children up to 6 years old are welcome.

Our small, fine apartment is ideal for short visits in the fairy Saalfeld. It is about a five-minute walk to the market square, in the immediate vicinity there is everything you need for successful vacation days. A free sofa bed is available for one child in the living room, i also like a baby cot. The city of Saalfeld charges a spa fee for adults €2, children from 6 to 14 years €1 per day, the cost for this is included in the price.

Tinyhouse "Wald(t)raum"

Enjoy the distant view of the Franconian Forest if you are looking for a few days away from the hustle and bustle. The newly completed cottage has been lovingly furnished and offers high comfort, nestled on the mountain of the nature park. Numerous hiking and cycling trails invite you to sporting activities. A few kilometers away, you can relax in the thermal baths.
