A house in the fields

The house stands alone in a sea of fields, swept by the wind, in a large perennial garden. With the help of many fellow artists and friends, this formerly unspectacular guesthouse from the 1990s was renovated and refurbished, and a garden was created with the help of landscape designer Rainer Elstermann. Through continuous growth and change, an idyllic place has emerged – and continues to emerge – that can accommodate 10 people in the guest area and 8 people in the studio area, which is mainly used privately.

From the separate 1200-square-metre property in the village, you have a clear view of the countryside and the starry sky, as well as plenty of options for excursions in a paradise for nature and birds or a trip to the swimming lake. We rebuilt the old clay frameworks, uncovered the ancient floorboards and only the finest clay paint was used on the walls. The hideaway is rounded off by a small cast iron fireplace for the evenings and a private sauna on the edge of the field... We love children 🧡🌟 4 cats and 1 dog live on the farm ;-)
