“This place was wonderful. It’s comfortable and cozy. The deck is perfect in the morning or at sunset. We could’ve stayed for much longer. There’s games and puzzles, s’mores, a fire pit, and kayaks (be sure to go at high tide). We learned how to shuck oysters which was awesome! It was truly perfect. Thanks Linda! 😀 Note for folks who may have a harder time getting around, the indoor stairs are very steep. I only mention this because I have people in my family who wouldn’t be able to ascend/descend them. I think Linda mentions this, so apologies if I am being redundant.”
Wake up in the master suite with a view of the Puget Sound. This quiet waterfront home is located 15 minutes from downtown Olympia. It’s located on a 3 mile loop where there is minimal traffic if any. Great area for a walk to enjoy the Pacific Northwest scenery. We do have a kayak and a standup paddle board. There is a grass lawn path that leads down to a Large sandy beach. Lots of area to play on the beach with your kids, family or friends. Come and enjoy a slice of The Pacific Northwest.
“100% without question the absolute best host I have ever had! The property is outstanding as well. My partner and I had to relocate temporarily due to Covid-19. My 65 year old Mom lives in Olympia and I needed to be close to her without living in the same home. She needs me to go to the grocery store and do other things for her that with her age/dispositions are not safe for her to do. Heath, the Airbnb host, made my transition Los Angeles at 10am to having my reservation at the Airbnb before I took off on the plane here seamless and very easy. His communication was above and beyond any host I’ve ever experienced in my very extensive use of Airbnb both domestically and internationally. When my partner and I arrived the home was more than expected. Sparkling clean, easy to find and get into, and the ceilings are so high it makes the home feel even more comfortable than it already is. The couch is divinely comfortable. The master bedroom has very soft carpet and a great view off the large balcony overlooking the water. Heath went above and beyond in many ways to make our stay extremely comfortable. With all of the covid-19 issues going on it still feels peaceful here. A retreat from the madness that surrounds us while still being close enough to town to help take care of my Mom feather easily. I’m very grateful to be staying here and I recommend it with 5 full stars in every category. Do yourself a good service and make your stay here.”
Who knew social distancing could be so fun?! On our tiny private island in south Puget Sound you'll see more deer, seal, porpoise, eagle and whales than people. 100% refunds for all CV19 cancelations. All surfaces sanitized before you arrive. You won't be in close contact with anyone the entire time you're here. On the western shore of Herron Island, about 90 minutes from Seattle. Enjoy all the beauty of the Puget Sound. Kayak, paddle board, beach comb. The most amazing sunsets you'll ever see.
“Donn and Jeanie were incredibly accommodating about understanding our needs and working with us. I switched back and forth about how many guests we were having and the price flipped around a bit but they were super fair and reasonable even though I was a little bit of a hassle to deal with. I cannot thank them enough for this. The space was incredibly cute and we had SO much fun. The beach was beautiful, the house was cozy. It was the perfect time to get away and this space and private island vibe truly helped us get away from the world like we needed. This space allowed essential rejuvenation and connection for my family. I would stay again in a heart beat.”
