Welcome to our peaceful guest house, 3km up from Hosanger, Osterøy, 50 min drive from Bergen. We are the last farm on the road and have a good parking space. From here you can walk on Åsheimveten, 477 meters above sea level and on to Tveitafjellet 556 meters. Down in the valley, you can walk to the popular Kossdal swings. Mjøsvågen Landhandleriet is open every day, 5min to drive. There you can buy hot food if desired. You can swim in the public swimming area close by or have a visit in the floating sauna.

Apartment for rent with throughout a high standard. The Byrkjetunet Gard is a farm in quiet and enchanting surroundings of Osterøy. Here you can live in the gardsbruk's apartment, where you have an entrance and terrace. The apartment has a bedroom, open kitchen, sofa nook and private bathroom. Also has a sofa bed so you can travel a lot. Here you are surrounded by idyllic western nature on all sides. The apartment is located in Ytre Arna with a nice view over the fjord. It is located 20mins by car from the center of Bergen. The busstop is 3 minutes away and you can get to the City in 30 to 40min by bus. We can help you plan your transport from the airport. There is a big garden and a park close to the appartment. We also have a private parking place for you. There are nice hiking possibilities here and on the way to the fjords/Hardanger.
