“WOW! It couldn't have been better. We have traveled the world and visited every state. This was in the top three of anywhere we've been. The booking was easy. The cabin was fabulous--built by Amish and very tastefully decorated with cabin, woodsy themes that complemented the knotty pine walls in this sparking clean space. All the amenities were top notch. Nothing mediocre. Soaps, shampoo, conditioner, towels, bedding were all first class and high quality. Bed and fouton couch was excellent. Porch was a few feet from the forest that teemed with birds and other wildlife. Fire pit included all the wood and kindling for great evenings. Hosts Jared and Rita did it all and did it just right. We are telling all our friends and family. We wanted to stay longer and are planning at least TWO more stays in the next few months.”

“Brad's place is extra special. The unique styling touches make this place magical!! My daughter LOVED the bed that looks like an authentic covered wagon! This kitchen is very well equipped, (the pots, pans, and cooking utensils are a bit worn, but they function just fine). The beds were very comfortable and we all slept great! The hot tub was amazing!!! The grill worked really well, and the grounds are beautiful. We spent a number of meals on the patio, enjoying the breeze and the scenery of the woods. The water pressure in the shower is a bit light, but it gets the job done. Overall, we LOVE this place and will be regular visitors!!”
Nicest place on beautiful Lake Loramie. Lake front view from the living area. The Fort Loramie state park is right across the road. This park offers over 400 acres and 1655 acres of land to explore complete with a beach. Our State Park is one of the original canal feeder lakes with more than eight miles of hiking trails that follow a portion of the Miami-Erie Canal. Kayaking is a big hit at Lake Loramie also! Everything you need for a getaway. Other rentals also available!
“This place was awesome and better than expected. For the price, it really is an excellent deal considering everything you get with it. Driving up, I was a little concerned because the adjacent little houses were dilapidated and in poor repair and so I didn't know what to expect. Upon entering, it was like coming into an oasis. The place is beautiful and sparkling clean, which made me feel safe staying there. It was nice and cool from the AC, and the decorations were a wonderful touch. It honestly felt more like a hotel than a cabin. There were actually hotel soaps in the bathroom as well. Some things to note: - The mattress is firm - The view is beautiful, but you are separated from the lake by a busy road, so if you're looking for a more quiet space this would not be it. - The kitchen has everything you need, including some condiments and spices (free coffee too!) - The locals are very friendly - everyone we passed or who passed us waved or said hello - Lake Loramie is a beautiful spot - most people by the lake were fishing. Lots of beautiful birds as well. Overall, I highly recommend staying here, especially for the value!”
