Part of duplex on active farm. We are the third generation to run the farm after my husband's grandparents got the farm as a wedding gift. Here you get to stay in the original farmhouse from about 1950. We live in the other part of the residence ourselves. Cozy place, fully furnished and with everything you need for shorter or longer stays. We have 8 alpacas and many goats on the farm, you can join in on the care on demand and if we have the opportunity in a busy everyday life when we are in full work and have four small children.

Stordalen is the gateway to Stølsheimen and has many great hiking opportunities. Peak trips up to 1000 meters nearby. All year round road from E39 Matre Stordalen ski center and prepared ski trails. Unique location between Førde and Bergen makes it easily accessible. Maybe the perfect meeting place for the family?

My cabin can be found in Høyanger municipality, in the small village of Måren. To get to Måren you have to take a ferry (MS Lysefjord) from Nordeide, Ortnevik or Vik. There are no shops or kiosks in Måren, so you need to plan well with regard to food and other things you would need during your stay. In other words, you have to shop everything you need before traveling over with the ferry. The cabin is fully equipped and has everything you need for a nice stay.
