Cabin vacation rentals in Hubbard County

We will definitely be coming back!! This resort is a gem. It’s located on a beautiful point on a clear, quiet lake. The cabins were recently renovated and adorably decorated while still maintaining a feeling of nostalgia and a quaint cabin feeling. The pictures don’t do it justice. You feel like you’re on a boat staring out the cabin window because the water is so close. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. They also have provided everything you would need for a fun, family getaway-games, sports equipment, a playground, a fun communal gathering space with a store, canoes, kayaks, paddle boards, life jackets, etc.

We had an excellent time at Angie's place on 3rd Crow Wing in Nevis. The cabin was exactly as pictured, perfectly cozy and beautifully decorated. The kitchen and pantry were well stocked, and everything else from beds to bathrooms to the wood-burning fireplace and hot tub made the cabin perfectly inviting. Guess instructions were clear and check-in/out were easy. Would love to visit again!

Talk about a cabin in the woods!! We went here for my dads 60th birthday weekend and everything went great. There were 8 of us and a 2 year old toddler. Plenty of space to hangout all together and not feel crowded and big enough to have your own space/alone time! The kitchen is immaculate, one of the largest kitchen islands we have ever seen! It was great. We also loved how all of the cabinets and drawers were labeled! Huge help in such a large kitchen! The two extra refrigerators/freezers were fantastic in the oversized pantry. Hot tub was great & the outdoor fire pit we used every night! All bedrooms were good a good size & we enjoyed that 4 bedrooms had an ensuite bathroom. It was the perfect up north getaway with the family.

Our family enjoyed the main house for the 4th of July week. The resort is adorable! The owners were very friendly and helpful! There are so many things to do. We enjoyed swimming in the pristine water, fishing, boating, and playing outdoor games with equipment they provided. The house was beautiful with comfortable beds and fresh clean decor. We recommend this resort and especially the main house for a larger group.

The cabin was so great, and the view was even better! Parking was a squeeze, but worth it! We would definitely come back.

This was our 2nd visit and we would stay again! We really enjoyed our stay.

Comfortable beds, beautiful lake, we loved it here!

The home is beautiful and comfortable. Everything you might need is there somewhere- I've honestly never seen such a prepared Airbnb house. Clear instructions were provided. Waterfront location was a real plus as was the very large raft available to us. Leah was readily available and was very friendly. Beds very comfortable. Be aware the home is on the sunrise side of the lake- the master suite is affected... eye mask recommended if you like to sleep in. I loved this rental!

We couldn't be happier with our choice of the Medhus cabin. What a gem! The instructions for check in were spot on, plus there were clear, helpful instructions in the guest book in the cabin for appliances and the fireplace. We had everything we needed to relax -- with Kerri readily available by message for my questions the entire time. We walked on the nearby trail, visited the restaurants in Nevis, and simply enjoyed the peaceful surroundings in this absolutely gorgeous lake home. We liked it so much, the second day we were there, my husband and I were looking at our calendars for when we could come back again next year. Thank you so much, Kerri!

We had a great time. Sadly we had to leave the fish in the lake they just did not want to come home with us!

This is the 3rd time we have stayed, and it has continued to be a great location for our family. It is about 20 minutes from Bemidji, about 16 minutes to Park Rapids (Zorbaz) but great things to enjoy right in Lake George.

We had a wonderful time staying here. Being right off the lake with the crisp clean air was exactly what we needed to recharge. The Wambolts cabins are like a little gem that we didn’t expect to stumble upon and we hope to come back next year 🤗

I happened upon this cabin at the last minute; I just needed a change of scenery. I could not have been happier with every bit of my experience. The cabin was quaint in all the right ways, the views were beyond expectation, and the peacefulness and privacy were perfect. I felt like I was living a dream for the week. THANK YOU!! I work from home as an online teacher, and the Internet connection worked perfectly for me to do that there. This is my new "happy place" and I WILL be back. (Bonus, the trees showed their most brilliant colors during my time there. WOW!) Oh, and if you plan a trip, take advantage of the $25 fee to order groceries to have waiting for you when you arrive. That was an amazing perk!

This stay was great! We came for a quiet fishing/boating weekend, and that’s what we got. Big lake with stunning nature. Very peaceful and get good lakeside views every morning. The kayaks and canoes as well as the rental boats were super useful for us. Fishing was decent not amazing this time of year, but caught pike, bass and panfish only a few larger ones. Saw some deer, bald eagles and other wildlife too. Cabin was able to hold 4 of us all with beds and was very cozy. Host was very helpful in guiding us to the place and was responsive whenever we needed! Thanks for the experience!

Susan and Terry were both fantastic! Great at communicating before and during our stay, and we got some good recommendations from Terry on things to check out in the surrounding area. We had a great time!

We enjoyed our long October weekend over MEA! Susan and Rick took excellent care of us! Great location on a quiet lake. Perfect spot for day trips to Itasca and Bemidji.

VERY clean cabins with pretty much everything you need included- they even supply charcoal for the charcoal grill they supply! This is the perfect resort for family gatherings. Was disappointed to book the cabin under the impression that it was "pet friendly". We have a very well trained black lab that loves swimming and going on nature walks. After booking the reservation on AirBnb, we found out dogs aren't permitted on the beach or any grass area between the beach and road (very, very limited space outside where we stayed at cabin #3) and they can't be left alone in the cabin (so no making a quick stop to town 10 miles away unless you bring them with). They do have complimentary waste bags for dogs by their office to accommodate for pets, but it was disappointing that we couldn't bring our dog to the beach with us. Overall, we were happy with our stay and recommended for families!

We had a wonderful weekend. I would give a 5 star rating. Your directions were ‘spot on’. We Appreciated the extra parking by the boat trailer area. All the little extras were noticed too! I loved how the garbage was picked up. Liked the recycling bin, clean beach was amazing. The water was too cold for us to swim in however, we totally enjoyed the beach chairs and playing in the sand!! The beach toys were a hit with our grandkids!! Very friendly hosts! We did take advantage of the fire area, bought some ice and even took our own boat out . This cabin was perfect for our adult kids… not so much for crawling babies ( but we knew this). Bed were comfortable. Sheets were Devine. Water pressure in the showers was very good too!
