“Susan's place was perfect for our little getaway. Quiet and peaceful. Susan communicated with us throughout our stay and made sure we were ok. She let us know everything about her space and gave us ideas of what to do around the area. There are some snacks she provides which is nice. Also loved sitting outside at night and listening to nature. I totally recommend this spot. Close to Ricketts Glen State Park and Williamsport. Also many great restaurants in town. Susan is a great host.”
Located on Pennsylvania 2018 River of the Year Loyalsock Creek, this little cottage is a gem! Enjoy a cup of coffee on the screened porch as you listen to the sound of the creek and the birds. Inflate one of the tubes kept in the basement and take a float down the river. In the evening, roast marshmallows over the fire pit in the backyard while you watch fireflies flicker around the creek. Restaurants/retail shopping just 8 miles away. Little League World Series Park 15 miles away
“We enjoyed such a wonderful weekend with our dog at this sweet cottage! It's on a beautiful spot by the river and we spent most of our time taking in the sights and sounds of the well-kept property. We had a fire every night and just completely unplugged, recharged and reset. The cabin is immaculate, has a ton of thoughtful touches and if you forgot to pack something, don't fret as the hosts thought of everything. If you're looking for complete relaxation and a change of scenery/pace this place is for you! Can't wait to come back!”

“I had an exceptional stay at Audrey and Tom’s home. I took a three day weekend away from Philly to relax and hike around Northern Pennsylvania. I picked the perfect Airbnb to stay at. First, the space and hosts. Audrey and Tom were very responsive and happily accommodated my late arrival. I found the home easily and parked right out front. There is plenty of parking so that shouldn’t be a problem, even if you have a couple cars. The room I stayed in was comfortable, spacious, and had excellent natural light in the morning (which I like). The bed was very comfortable. I can honestly say I slept better in the 3 nights I stayed here than I had in a long time. The home has plenty of amenities and perks. There is a coffee maker (with grinder if you have whole beans) and a Keurig, so you have your pick. There’s also a refrigerator to keep food or beer in, if you need it. The guest bathroom was very clean and had everything you could need, including soap, shampoo, and towels. The best perk about staying here (in my opinion) is the backyard. It’s beautiful and well kept. The setting is equally beautiful in morning or evening. I happily spent a couple hours each morning in the backyard to enjoy the simple beauty and quiet. I can only imagine how nice it is in the fall. Last but certainly not least, Audrey and Tom set my stay apart from others I’ve had. They were kind and welcoming. Even though you share their home, they give you plenty of space if you want it. Tom (a very experienced hiker) went out of his way to review the hikes I identified, point out a few other options, and give insight/recommendations (all of which turned out to be spot on). Whether you are traveling solo or with someone else, I highly recommend Audrey and Tom’s place. I will certainly be back, and very likely sooner than later.”
