“Very nice place, specially if you like to feel like you're in the middle of nowhere (do the hike to Dygneset - 10 km roundtrip / 4 hours ) and you feel it even more (surprisingly nice hike! Through beautiful nature reserve & with fantastic views towards Harstad). Communication with Inger is easy and she makes sure you feel at home. As mentioned before: be prepared on no supermarket and buy groceries before you go and you will have an amazing time! The views from the apartment & terrace are amazing, like you own your own house by the sea :-)”
The cottage/house (100m2 + loft) located 10 meters from the sea with great views of Norway's most mountainous island - Andørja. Large outdoor area with heated Jacuzzi, play on penny slot (Flip case), mountain trips, northern lights, skiing and fishing by boat (in the summer) is just some of the things to experience here.
“Booked with Knut for 3 nights originally but had only able to stay 2 nights as we were stranded in Abisko due to train cancellation on the 1st day. I only wished we had more nights! First off, check in was ease and the key was in a lock code box just outside the door. Knut had all the instructions clearly sent prior to check in. There was a personal parking space just metres from the house itself too. House had a wonderful location just right smack in front of the beach with wonderful views of the fjords surrounding. Other than the outdoor jacuzzi,it was nice having an additional fireplace outside just beside the outdoor sofa area. We were lucky we saw auroras out of the 2 nights we were there too Design of the place was immaculate, and what stood out was really all the nice little touches the host have prepared for the guests. This house have everything you need, and more. A basket with lots of booties and indoor warm slippers at the entrance, neatly folded blankets beside the fireplace, the many choices of good quality personal amenities like toiletries ( felt like having a home spa) and things like coffee, tea sugar, cooking ingredients and everything you will need for a home. Love the technology of the kitchen as well. Host gave full privacy and as instructions were already sent prior, there wasn't further communication needed. However when we needed help on our check out day, as our car was stuck in a snow few metres driving out from the house, knut was very prompt in responding and getting us help. It was a wonderful experience and we did not regret driving up 2 hours from Narvik to stay at this wonderful place. Will be back again next time, but to stay for a week at least. It was a perfect home away from home for my husband and me to relax and celebrate our weddding anniversary. Highly recommended”

“We stayed at Finn’s and Marianne’s house at the end of December 2019 and we had a fantastic and a very relaxing time there. The house is even better than the pictures suggest and we both agreed that it’s probably our favourite Airbnb property we’ve ever stayed at. The house is welcoming, spacious, comfortable, cozy and perfectly equipped, be it for a short or an extended stay. The kitchen has just about everything you could need for home-cooked meals, including all cooking basics and equipment. For anything else, there are a few shops (and petrol stations) just a drive away - the longer the drive, the bigger the shop. The location of the house was spot on, too. The journey there felt like driving to the end of the world, but I mean that in a good way. The house is remote and very peaceful with hardly any neighbours. It is right by the sea and it has lovely views. It is also a great spot for aurora watching on a clear night - we got to see it on our first night directly from the house, so no need to chase it in a car. Finn was a great host and was incredibly helpful during our whole stay; this was most appreciated. Overall, the house is an absolute gem. We wish it could be cloned and that the copies would be dotted around the world so we can stay there on our other trips in the future. Thank you very much for having us. We really hope to return again in the future.”
