Walk along the bird breeding area, bike in the area, golf in Westwoud or explore VOC port cities Hoorn and Enkhuizen. Bus stop and parking in front of the door. 30 min from Amsterdam. This is a rare opportunity to stay in a traditional Miller's House located on the same property as an authentic 1632 Dutch Windmill. This beautiful cabin offers privacy, nature and canals on both sides, yet is only 1.5 miles (2.4km) from town and a 40 minute train ride to Amsterdam. This cabin was hand built with love & care and it is a pleasure to share it with guests from all around the world. As the Miller of this windmill, I enjoy giving my guests a complimentary tour whenever possible.

Here in quiet Frisian Rohel you can really be outside, feel the wind in your hair and the sun on your skin. Cycling and hiking along the meadows and (cold) swimming in the Tjeukemeer. Drink a glass of wine on the terrace on the water, with the view of infinity, under the old fruit trees in the garden. Apart from the sounds of birds, the rustling of the wind and in the distance a tractor, you don't hear anything at all here. The sunsets can be amazingly beautiful here.

IT ÚT FAN HÚSKE - met hottub in hartje Friesland

Plattelandslogement IT ÚT FAN HÚSKE is located on an idyllic winding dike 15 minutes by bike from Sneek or the Sneekermeer. The húske is detached, cozy and equipped with all the comforts. From the outdoor terrace with canopy, guests can enjoy the HOT TUB, the view, the stars and a fabulous sunrise. The hot tub costs €40,- for the 1st day and €20,- for the following days. We recommend bringing our own bathrobes, should it be necessary, we also have bathrobes.

Cozy, detached cottage in a quiet place

This lovely cozy cottage is located in a beautiful location in the outskirts of the Frisian Noordwolde, where there are many birds. Fully furnished, with a cozy pellet stove and a wood stove, this is really a place to relax and unwind! The cottage has its own garden and borders a forest, where you can take a nice walk and in the vicinity there are many more hiking areas. You can also walk from the cottage to a nice swimming pool in about 20 minutes.
