Vacation rentals with breakfast in Ingham County

It’s very peaceful and quiet place to stay for long vacation. Darrel is very kind and helpful. I didn’t stay at his place but booked it for my uncle and his wife during their trip at Lansing. Even though there was language barrier between them (my uncle and his wife can’t speak English), they said he helped them arranged everything and showed them way to market and so on. Thanks a lot to make their trip much easy and comfortable :)

The rooms were exactly what we were expecting. It's hot up there but thankfully they have an A/C in both rooms!

My stay here was great, and the location is beautiful. Anita is so friendly and helpful. She was very communicative in advance and also while I was there. I was in town to look for houses and she kindly sent me many links of available houses and gave me insights into neighborhoods and schools. She went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable and welcome. The basement where the airbnb is located does not have direct heat (though there is a space heater and a heated blanket), but Anita turned the heat on higher in their part of the house so that it would warm the basement up more for me. She was also very flexible on my arrival and return dates, both of which changed last minute. I couldn't have asked for a nicer host.

The host was thoughful and stocked the fridge and pantry with applies, snacks, evey some milk. The convenience of washer and drier next to fridge was appreciated--newish machines, not from the 70s. Plenty of plates, pans, bowls--encouraged us to eat in. Small but cute balcony, great for mornings and sunset. Nice old tile in bathroom (but faucet is modern), lots of towels, can take a bath. The bedroom is larger than the picture shows--it includes a couch and a working table. So, you can use a laptop there or you can be at the kitchen table where two people have room for laptops. Lots of drawers and a closet with lots of hangers. This 3-room mini-house occupying the second floor of a beautiful old house that is central to a great neighborhood and not far from the capitol (and history museum--I will be going back). My wife is a little concerned about hauling luggage up the wooden stairway, I carry it for her, but we aging people need to match lodgings with our comforts.

Dave and Sherry are wonderful and accommodating hosts. Felt like I was staying with family! Great house, beautiful yard and patio, yummy muffins and donuts for breakfast. And the cutest and friendliest dog was the cherry on top!

Sue was very nice and it was a pleasure to meet her and staying the night.

This is the nicest airbnb we’ve EVER stayed in! It’s huge!!! Brand new, sparkly clean. The best thing was watching the sunset from the upstairs porch- absolutely stunning! Rooms were large and beds were so comfortable. The kitchen is downstairs and all other rooms are upstairs. This place is within 10 minutes of anything in Jackson. We enjoyed 2 wineries within 15 minutes of Jackson and HiCaliber in Lansing (about 35 minutes away)

I am new to AirB&B and haven’t booked through the site yet. I had just started an account, as I was hoping to find a reasonable price place for my son to stay while he is working in Michigan. Steve Betty Shutt took a chance on me and my son and allowed him to stay there for the week. The owner sent a message asking a few questions before they approved the stay hours before check in they sent detailed instructions on how to get in, From where to park and enter the building. My son had a coworker who was trying to find a place and was looking like he could the owner was going to allow him to stay with my son if he couldn’t find a place. The place is clean, and new. The owners are very responsive and helpful with any questions. The place does have lots of heat, and an ac unit if too hot. Definitely would stay again!

I had another wonderful stay! Very convenient location. Quiet neighborhood. The kitchen has anything you could possibly need. My favorite part is the Keurig!
