A small bedroom and ensuite plus a separate utility room are also on the ground floor. A central spiral staircase leads to two double bedrooms and a central bathroom with shower and bath.
“We really enjoyed our short stay at Bardot Barn. Everything was very easy to organise, and getting in to the property on arrival was straight forward. The barn is quite large, with a lovely open plan kitchen and lounge area. Bedrooms are all spacious with comfortable beds. Thanks for a great time.”
Freshly decorated studio annex with new king size bed, all new bedding and new carpets. Off street parking for 1 vehicle is available on a gated gravel driveway. Very close to local shop, petrol station and bus routes to Newbury town centre and train station. Outdoor seating is in front of the annex's private entrance on the patio. Good routes to the A34 and M4.
“This is a lovely little studio bungalow situated at the end of a quiet street in a peaceful residential area at the edge of Newbury. There is everything you need, and the hosts are very helpful and provide regular service. There are a lot of walks and countryside nearby and the town centre is a short drive or cycle or can be walked if you have time. I had no problems, though I should mention a couple of things. Guests have no control over the heating and you are at the mercy of when the occupants of the attached house want it on, so bring warm pyjamas and a hot water bottle if staying over cold months. I think the WiFi is also shared with the main house and I had intermittent connection issues particularly at the far end of the room. Not a problem for me as I have my own mobile broadband, but something to be aware of. Otherwise I had a great stay here and would recommend it for singles, couples, for leisure or business long stay or short.”
