Cabin vacation rentals in Iron County

We absolutely loved our stay here! It was a perfect location to the ski hills yet a very quiet setting that we could relax after a day at the slopes. The house was a perfect size and layout for our group, decorated very nicely, and had great amenities; hot tub, sauna, comfortable choices, and a great sized kitchen stocked with all the essentials.

Beautiful getaway. A river runs by providing soothing sounds and picturesque sights. Can be seen from the wonderful hot tub out back and from the long covered deck. Some property to walk, but also close to many waterfall hikes, if you're wanting some outdoor adventure. During bad weather or you're feeling lazy, the couch is very comfy and the TV large. Hannah was extremely responsive and helpful (I got my car stuck, through my own fault, and she facilitated my escape). She provided recommendations of her own accord, and they all turned out to be accurate.

We rented both sides and it worked great for two families. Two kitchens and two living rooms when you have 4 kids makes everything easier. The hot tub was a big hit with the kids and the walking distance to the hill was a bonus. We would definitely rent this place again!

Plenty of space and a good location for ski in/ski out

We really enjoyed our stay. The accommodations were perfect for what we needed and we really enjoyed being so close to the lake and the peacefulness of nature.

It was very relaxing. There was 6 of us, so it was nice to not be on top of each other. Very spacious! We will for sure book it again!

Our stay at the Lakefront Mercer Cabin was exceptional. The cabin was comfortable and clean, and its location was great. Our group appreciated the updates to the bathrooms, kitchen, and living area and the vinyl collection is legit. We used this as a basecamp to do some cross country skiing and snow biking in the area and found it to be an ideal launching spot. The lake is quiet and beautiful; abounding with wildlife. We'd love to come back in the summer to do some kayaking. The guest contact, Dave was proactive, responsive, and friendly. We would definitely recommend this cabin for anyone looking for a comfortable space with history and charm; all with the comforts of home.

Nice place, plenty of space, pet friendly, easy access to snowmobile trials, ample trailer parking

Stayed here for a snowmobile trip and the location is prime with trail access right to the south. We had 5 guys stay here and there was plenty of room with 3 sleeping upstairs and the other 2 in the individual rooms downstairs. Place was plenty big and we’re looking forward to staying here again in the future.

If you are looking for peace and quiet this is your place. The lake is beautiful and the fall colors around the cabin were breathtaking!

This was our third stay at the cabin. The location is perfect for a ski trip, and the cozy, "family cabin" feel makes for a great place to relax at the end of a long day.

Roger and Diane were so welcoming and friendly. Their cabin is beautiful! Also have your own pier for fishing! But the cabin is gorgeous, it feels super homey and comfy, didn’t feel like you were in a strangers home at all. Also their decor is perfect, it fits perfectly with the home. And you’re close to Bobbers on the Lake, it’s only a 2 min walk, and the food is great. If you’re looking at Roger’s cabin, give it a try! You won’t regret. Super clean, and comfy. Cozy, quiet cabin in the trees. Loved the closeness of the water. Had a bonfire every night. Tracy is super prepared and responsive. Great place!

I was looking for something rustic and in the woods, and I found it. So close to hiking trails and so many waterfalls! It’s not super private but it was still quiet and I barely saw anyone. It’s is dog friendly (thankfully), so a few barks now and then. I was in a predicament at the end of my stay and she was SO incredibly helpful and gracious. Would love to come back.

Beautiful cabin with easy access to snowmobile trail! We also loved that it was so close to Lazy Ace Saloon, which is a favorite when in the area. Hosts were great with communication. I would recommend if staying in the cold months to have heat turned up well before checkin as the heat takes a while to warm up the entire cabin. The beds were sooooo comfortable & all the hooks were very convenient for hanging sled gear. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again! Thanks so much!!

Great little north woods fishing cabin! Exactly as was pictured. And they had little unexpected things like coffee, filters, etc.

Great place to stay! I’ve stayed many times in Northern Wisconsin and this is by far one of the best! Highly recommend!
