Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Ísafjarðarbær

Haukur and Vaida’s home in Isafjodur was perfect to explore the area, beautifully appointed, quaint, and felt so cozy to come home to after a long day of trekking through the west fjords. The house also had the perfect bedroom for our two children, was walkable to city center, and a lovely house cat Hosa who made the stay even more enjoyable!

Ingi and Snorri have a wonderful home that we stayed at. Orivate and peaceful, a perfect place to catch the Aurora and even Artic fox sightings. Ingri was great in communicating with us and reason to reauests.

A quiet retreat in the Westfjords not far from the town of Isafjorda. The home was clean and peaceful and gave us room to spread out. It has a beautiful view of the mountains flanking each side of the fjord and was very private even with other homes nearby. We appreciated having a hot tub to relax at the end of the day and access to a laundry room.

Nice apartments with all necessary amenities and located in a beautiful city. Host is friendly, apartments are clean and feels like home.

A lovely authentic old Icelandic house that has been renovated practically and tastefully. Great location. Wonderful to have access to a hot tub and sauna. Elín is a perfect host. We recommend the restaurant Fisherman, which is on the same street. We will come back. I have rarely slept as well as in this house.

We have stayed at Philip's place several times during our particiation in Fossavatn ski week. Philip has been very quick to respond to any questions. A very friendly, welcoming and helpful host.

This is our second time in this cabin. It’s a beautiful rather simple place, very close to Ísafjörður but secluded, in nature. You are surrounded by a forest, with a constant sound of the waterfall and a beautiful view towards the fjord. There are nice big windows, everything you need to cook, and a feeling of home, with all the ornaments. The bed and shower are a bit small, but you can manage. Johann is extremely hospitable and let us stay a few extra hours the day after our big Horsnstrandir hike to do our laundry in the nearby campground. Thank you, Jói!

We stumbled upon this yurt location after leaving our TOP meal during our 10 day travel covering the circle around the country! ( Tjöruhúsið ) This is a very quant setting who truly served a unique Icelandic fresh meal that was nestled with low lighting while Edison lights hung in the rafters, glistening below the barns rafters! Do yourself a favor and make this place a must in your plans, we still dream of the 6+ different fresh caught fish chef served premium buffet. We came to our yurt after the helpful check in and were overly pleased with the bedding and the comfort of the yurt! Heater and expresso machines were a nice addition! The down bedding and linen were top notch! Even thought the yurt was amazing standing alone but what blew our socks off was the northern lights that were bursting on top of this quaint valley nestled oasis! We had the upgrade clear top unit and laid in bed and watched them dance in the sky. This will be a core memory! 💚🩵💚🩵💚
