“The cabana was clean, cozy and only a ten minute walk from the beach. The first night the toilet did not work, but Maria Cristina had it fixed first thing the next morning. There is, as stated in the listing, no WiFi, but sometimes it’s good to disconnect for a bit. Maria Cristina was a wonderful, thoughtful and hospitable host, I enjoyed talking to her very much, as she’s a kind and knowledgeable woman. I would come back any time.”

“We had the best time in Colombia at the Caribbean Villa. Juan and his brother managed everything for us - the service was perfect. We got picked up in Cartagena from our taxi driver Manuel. He took us all the way to the Villa, it was a 4 hours drive but we stopped by at the supermarket in San Onofre, where we could by all the groceries for the next few days. Keep in mind that the Villa is 50mins away from the supermarket so buy everything you need. Vanessa and Alfonso welcomed us at the house and Vanessa even cooked dinner for us on our first night. The house is amazing - it was designed by their parents. We even got to meet them and it was very nice. They even went grocery shopping for us because we forgot some ingredients e.g oil, etc. The house looks just like in the pictures. It’s a very nice and quite place - no tourists and no people who wants to sell something to you. It was just us and the nature. Alfonso has put up the volleyball net, the chairs, kayak, stand up paddle board and the hammock everyday for us. We told Vanessa what we like for breakfast and dinner and she surprised us with a very nice meal each day. The fisher boat is stopping by each day where you can by some fish which Vanessa will be cooking for you. The rooms and the bathroom where really clean and comfortable. The rooms are cleaned everyday by Vanessa as well. There are so many places to chill out at the Villa, so if you want to hang out alone - it won’t be a problem. Alfonso took us even out to the see Plankton at night which was a great adventure with the Kajaks. All in all we had the best time jet of our time in Colombia. We are definelty coming back and we hope to see Miriam and Haime (the parents) again or even meet Juan and his brother in person. The only thing we would recommend to everyone: - bring a Volleyball and - ask Vanessa what you need to buy if you want her to cook some great Colombian dishes for you - we were just lucky that Miriam and Haime went to the supermarket for us. Hope to see you soon Thank you for the great time Ayleen, Filiz, Clara, Felix, Jannik, Cenk and Nikki”

“The huts are at the entrance to the village, which means you have to walk about 10 minutes to the beach. We felt it was more of an advantage because the Colombians played loud music in the place until late at night. On New Year's Eve and New Year's Eve there was a lot of celebrations and we could find peace and quiet in our hut. The young landlord couple gave us a very warm welcome and the feeling only increased after 4 days. We now have friends in Colombia!”
