In addition to the nearby highway connection, the outskirts of the house offer good opportunities for cycling and hiking, e.g. to the neighboring wildlife park.

Our house is rural and quiet, but still close to the centre. Our self-contained attic apartment offers plenty of space on 53 square meters, is flooded with light and quiet. It is located a few hundred meters from the Gemen Youth Castle and is an ideal starting point for cycling tours through the Münsterland park landscape. Two bakeries with breakfast and an organic shop are within a three-minute walk. You can safely park and charge your e-bikes in our garage. Two restaurants are also within walking distance.

Around Winterswijk, nature sometimes seems to have stood still. Here, the idyllic streams wind their way through the small-scale collising landscape with its bushes, fields, avenues, wood ramparts and Scholtengoed. In the farmhouse "Pasman" (1340 first mention as Bovekinck) used to belong to Kasteel het Waliën, we have realized a holiday home. Used old elements and applications of recycled materials in a modern jacket but with the comfort of today.

Due to wheather influences the look and feel will change over the years. Located in the rural area of Twente and close to the city Enschede. The border to Germany is marked with ancient border stones and at the end of the road.
