This is the place if you want silence, proximity to real Norwegian nature and the experience of living in a historic house where everything old is preserved. The beautiful cane-built guardian residence from Setesdalsbanen, dating from 1880, is all by itself with beautiful views of the Otra River with good bathing, hiking and fishing opportunities. The house is located right next to Setesdalsbanen's old disused cloth with a lot of great old tunnels, culverts and cloths intact, so here it is also something for the train enthusiast and history enthusiast.

Riverfront Tiny House

Charming cabin on the water's edge of Otra, with its own small beach and fishing dish. The cabin has a kitchenette with two hot plates, coffee maker, fridge and the most necessary kitchenware. No running water, but enough drinking water and washing water are provided. Toilet in your own building wall-in-wall with the cabin which is undisturbed on a sheep pasture. Free parking about 50 meters away. Great hiking terrain/close-up trips! The timber chute is nearby and should be experienced (google it). The same applies to the Setesdal Line

Cozy and idyllic cottage with a large fenced plot in a quiet cottage area near the forest with good hiking opportunities, fresh water with nice shallow beaches for swimming and fishing in Haukomvannet, a short walk away. Here you wake up refreshed to the sounds of nature in the morning, and can often enjoy the view of grazing deer in the outside of the bedroom with the coffee cup on the bed. A beautiful family-friendly little Summer House located by Kilefjorden offers a place to relax, go fishing, swim, hike, and enjoy nature and activities nearby. The Summer house is located at Bornes Camping in Hægeland and has everything you need to have an enjoyable relaxing stay. Two bikes are available to use as well as borrowing a canoe, a row boat or fishing pole. Enjoy the sun and the view all day at the two decks. Close to activities, Go Kart, Mineral Park, Beaches, Rafting and more

Cozy fresh water cabin

Cozy cabin with electricity and internet at Kleppvannet in Birkenes municipality. The cabin is about 100 sqm and sleeps 6 + a baby bed. The property has several swimming areas (for big and small) and great fishing opportunities. Canoe, trampoline with safety net, various indoor/outdoor games and fishing equipment can be borrowed. The cabin has no running water, but drinking water is provided in water cans. There is an outdoor toilet and shower in the outhouse next to the cabin.

The road has a boom at both ends. 100m from bike route 3 Very fast internet. Swimming area in the river 50 m from the cabin . Many hiking trails. Rowboat can be borrowed from about April to about November. A lot of small fish in the river. No need for a fishing license.

Welcome to my hut in the Southern part of Norway, one hour drive north from Kristiansand. I built the hut in 1979. Located on a hill, the hut provides you with a primitive, yet comfortable experience close to the natural environment. Staying at the hut is ideal for those seeking a silent and peaceful surrounding, to spend time together or alone, reflect, or work on creative endeavors. It's a good base for hikes in untouched nature in both winter and summer.
