ELIS is an old historical single-family house built with ottoman architecture, wholly restored to its old-time decor and renovated to its present comfort. It is located in one of the most preserved historical streets of Blue Mosque area and has been in our Family since late 1800. We are still enjoying it for our visits to Istanbul with my wife and little daughter. It did add lots of memories to our life so now we want other people enjoy and Share the memories. Heybeliadali marangoz Andon usta 1928 yilinda Burak Reis Sokak'ta bir ev yaptirmaya karar verir. 1930 yilinda biten evin alt kati tas, ust kati kagir yigma, tavan ve tabani ahsaptir. Andon usta uzun yillar yasamini bu evde surdurur. Vefatindan sonra uzun yillar bu evde oturan olmaz. Yeni ev sahibi 2003'te restorasyona baslar. 2004'te aslina uygun sekilde yenilenen bu evde cicekler icinde yeni bir yasam baslar. Evin arkasi orman, onu alabildigine mavilikler ve sabahlari sadece kus sesleri...

My house is located in the center of a historic neighborhood. This historical, private, two-floored house has a balcony with a view of sea of Marmara and it takes 3 mins walk to there and 10 mins to Tramway station. Hagia Sophia, Sultanahmet Mosque & Hippodrome, Topkapi Palace, Basilica Cistern, Little Hagia Sophia, Mosaic Museum, Carpet museum, Arasta Bazaar and many other historical sites are all in the walking distance. It is surrounded by lots of cafes, restaurants and shops.

It has beautiful sunrise lights in the morning and it takes 2-3 min. to the house from centre by walking. It has a beautiful balcony with great seaview. There is natural gas, so warm at winter. I have a cat at home, Luna, so friendly. Kitchen has everything you need for cooking with 2 windows and also seaview. 🐿
