From the window of the upper floor of the renovated barn, which is located next to our farm, you have a view of the Cabauwse mill, and if you are lucky the stork will be brooding across the street. Aan de Kaai is in (Cabauw/Lopik), on the border of the provinces of Utrecht and Zuid Holland. In the middle of the Groene Hart of the Utrecht Waarden and the Krimpenerwaard.

Spacious accommodation with private entrance with plenty of space inside and outside to unwind and relax. Ideal for fishermen, cyclists, bird watchers, hikers and other nature lovers, water sports enthusiasts can also indulge here. Private free parking. Along meadows with knot willows, you drive into a cozy village. At the church, you turn into a dead-end road. Soon you will reach a black cottage surrounded by greenery; our guest house "De Hooischuur". As soon as you enter the detached cottage, it immediately feels like coming home. And that is exactly the feeling we would like to give you. Our characteristic hay barn in 2018 is equipped with many comforts and gives you the opportunity to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Our spacious studio of approximately 43 m² is located on the outskirts of the beautiful town of Oudewater and in the middle of the peatland area of the green heart. The studio is a wonderful space to relax for a weekend and enjoy nature, but also a nice place to stay longer and discover the surrounding cities. The studio includes 2 bicycles with which you can reach the supermarket in 2 minutes and in about 5 minutes you are in the picturesque center of Oudewater with delicious restaurants.

An atmospheric suite with a free entrance, where once was the haystack of this farmhouse from 1878. This beautiful cottage used to be a 100-year-old carriage house, of which old beams have remained visible as much as possible. The cottage is located in the yard of our 400-year-old monumental Krukhuis farm, where we live with our sheep, chickens and dog. The cottage has its own outdoor seating. Opposite the farm are the floodplains of the river Lek with the many nice little beaches. And a stone's throw away is the cozy silver town of Schoonhoven.
