Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Jackson County

The place was perfect. Everything was as described. Very clean and comfortable. Lovely settling and very relaxing, plus anything you could need was provided. The guest book was very informative. Quick ride to downtown. I will definitely check in to renting this spot again on my next visit in the near future. I’d love to stay again, it was so cozy I hated to leave! The house and town were amazing! It was one of the most peaceful places I’ve ever stayed. We spent a lot of our time outside in the fenced in side yard looking at the beautiful views of the river. Sabula was a quiet small town with limited restaurants and bars but Savanna, IL was a quick and scenic 10min drive. We were completely content driving for a meal and staying in the small quiet town. We even had a pizza and tacos delivered from Savanna one of the nights. Right across the street we had access to an open grassy area with seats and a picnic table right by the river which was perfect for stargazing each night. If you’re looking for a peaceful, beautiful place to stay for a few days, this is the spot! Thanks so much for sharing your home with us Peggy!

HISTORIC AND SERENE. Enjoyed the mental step back into the past with a great place to stay while in town for a wedding. Solid hosts and very unique stay.

This home was a great place to stay for my bachelorette party in Galena. It was a short drive to the shops in town. It is in a private neighborhood with a beautiful view. We had everything we needed from towels to kitchenware. Kyle was responsive and great to work with. 100% recommend!

Beautiful home! Perfectly clean environment for the introduction of our newborn to family members in town. Updated bathrooms and a lot of comfortable seating around the house. Robert was super friendly and easy to communicate with. We highly recommend this property and will stay again in the future!

We actually chose Linsey's place as a plan B when vacation plans for Arkansas fell through due to the weather, and WOW!!! We couldn't have been happier with our stay! Linsey was very quick and responsive to answer any questions we had. The home and location was absolutely beautiful!! She provided everything you could possibly need and everything you didn't even know you needed and forgot!! Thank you for allowing us to enjoy some much needed respite at your little slice of heaven!!

Last minute request to stay their on our trip and Peggy made it happen even know she was out of town . we thank you for that. the Cafe a block over was amazing for dinner and breakfast.

This was my fourth time staying at Sandys and each time is just as enjoyable as the last. Her new wallpaper in the kitchen, bedrooms, and master bath are beautiful. She has a real knack for decor. She's always super helpful, kind, and her breakfasts dont disappoint! If you're looking to relax in a peaceful setting, but still be close to downtown Galena, this is THE place to stay.

My partner and I have stayed at this airbnb multiple times and we have never been disappointed. It’s absolutely amazing, not just a place to stay but a whole experience! I highly, highly recommend!

This condo is perfect for a little getaway. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, and utensils. The bed was comfortable! The jet tub was relaxing and perfect for 2 people! Downfall is that the shower head is VERY small and there’s a weird clunking behind the toilet, in the plumbing.

Fabulous Airbnb; very clean and comfortable. Howard is a great host with out of this world communication; very attentive and quick to respond with any questions.
