We are located centrally to local popular Vineyards in the serene Applegate Valley, just 12 miles outside the historic Jacksonville Oregon. Our brand new modern-style single cottage is a stand alone unit & is a private cozy, yet spacious haven.

The guest house, we affectionately call the Villa, is situated near great views, restaurants, wineries, and nature trails available in Jacksonville, Ashland and Medford. Located in the country with views of the famous pear orchards. We have designed the Villa to be a quiet retreat that offers some unique features, so please familiarize yourself with our Property and House Rules. B.F. Dowell House

Originally constructed in 1861, the historic B.F. Dowell house has been beautifully revived. Situated within walking distance of downtown, the home provides guests with easy access to the towns charming cultural fixtures as well as a variety of quaint stores. The market across the street may help guests utilize the homes large, well-equipped kitchen. Full baths adjoin each bedroom, an additional bathroom adjoins a laundry room. The homes porch opens to a patio that accompanies a spacious lawn.

Welcome to your private cabin up in the trees, just 3 miles from sought after Historic Jacksonville, Oregon-where award winning restaurants, wineries, and adventures await! Stay for a few days or a couple months and we will take care of you just the same! Set among mature Madrones and Pines with views of the evergreen mountains, you will be using all your senses to discover what Oregon is all about. Lots of fun wildlife! This is a scenic stop between PDX and SF and its own destination. One guest says " Her home has a magic of its own." Simple, elegant, and a great base for wine-tasters, paraglider, or roadtrippers. If a house surrounded by nature, vineyards, paraglider pilots, creativity and occasional other travelers sounds interesting, you'll love it here. As a local tourism coordinator, I can direct you to the top attractions. Note: this is a self-contained unit but attached to the main house!
