“This property is within easy reach of Longwood House, between Airport and Jamestown, below the windmills overlooking Fort Knoll. David and Dianna are warm and helpful, great hosts. With David I had hours of conversations about St. Helena and this and that. He is from England and Dianna is from St. Helena. You can ask them anything, they help to organize / reserve something somewhere and also invite you to great home-cooked meals. The view from their property is stunning, it is very quiet, a cool place to enjoy the sunset. Foxy's Car Hire is just down the road, and you can have the rental car delivered to David right away, and he'll pick you up from the airport. The accommodation is cozy, has everything you need, everything is spotlessly clean. Who likes to play with the three dogs, or with goats, sheep or pigs ... there are also chickens, they deliver the breakfast eggs and the roosters crow in the morning a bit ... I highly recommend this place.”
The cottage in the Brewery Yard is a lovely old house right in the middle of historic Jamestown, a stones throw away from the main town with its shops and restaurants, yet tucked away in a quiet corner away from the noise and hustle and bustle! It has a covered verandah, large bathroom downstairs, fully modernised kitchen with induction hob, fan-assisted oven and belfast sink. Upstairs are two spacious bedrooms, an office space and a toilet, with large beds and handsome wooden floors.
“This cottage is in a fantastic location for access to Jamestown and the marina area. Shops and restaurants are less than a five minute walk away. The cottage itself is clean and nicely decorated. Amenities fab with a good kitchen stocked with pots, pans etc. Good bathrooms and comfy beds too - can’t complain at all. Neil and Debbie are lovey hosts too, offering collection from the airport and stocking the cottage with essentials. If I stay in Jamestown again, I’ll certainly check the availability of this cottage.”
