Waterfront vacation rentals in Jan Thiel

Franks place was as per the description and photos, no surprises. The view of the ocean from the terrace was our favourite thing about the place. Drinking our coffee every morning with that view was amazing. Not to mention the glass of wine watching the sunsets. There were half a dozen restaurants plus grocery store within walking distance. Mambo beach is an hour walk for the adventurous and Willemstad is a 2.5 hour walk if you don’t mind the heat. Love the place, would recommend.

Our family of 4 really enjoyed our stay at this spacious, modern, clean, and safe unit. We loved having breakfast on the veranda, steps from the beautiful pool. Great location-close to Jan Thiel and Mambo beaches, and many conveniences. Hosts were very responsive and provided helpful tips for dining, etc. We would definitely stay again.

we stayed here for 5 nights and had a wonderful stay. we loved blue bay beach and all the resort had to offer. the unit is just a minutes walk to the beach and was clean and quiet. we felt safe in the gated community. the room is essentially a large hotel room and was comfortable for 2 adults. the property manager was very responsive to any questions I had and even swapped us for fresh towels midweek at my request. my only complaint is that the shower runs out of hot water VERY quickly, like within a few minutes. other than that, we had a beautiful stay and wouldn’t hesitate to book here again!

Nos hospedamos en este bello apartamento en Curazao, es muy cómodo y tiene todo lo necesario para una estancia agradable. El acceso a la playa privada es muy cercano y pudimos disfrutar de la arena y el mar que son preciosos. La piscina también está a unos pocos pasos y es increíble. Daniel es un excelente anfitrión y nos recibió muy amablemente. Respecto al transporte, Daniel y Evelien me recomendaron a Remy, quien renta vehículos a través de bbautoverhuur y su servicio fue excelente. Te recoge y te lleva al aeropuerto y la camioneta que rentamos estaba en excelente estado. Una excelente persona.

El alojamiento de Chris superó nuestras expectativas. Muy cómodo y bonitos acabados. Las habitaciones, baños, sala y cocina grandes y espaciosos. Con una vista preciosa a la playa y atardeceres espectaculares. Está muy cerca a la playa. El Condominio es seguro y tiene varios restaurantes al rededor. Las camas muy cómodas y la cocina con todo los utensilios e implementos necesarios para una estancia agradable si te gusta cocinar. Chris contesta muy rápido a las Consultas y nos dio datos de interés. 100% recomendable!

It was a beautiful, calmy, quietly, peaceful and nice place to stay. The view in the morning and in the evening is sooooo nice. It's good located near the capital city. The service and kindness of the hosts is so heartful. We enjoy our stay at Emy's place. It's a beautiful apartment nice garden and balcony. Safe for kids and moatly it's very private. You can enjoy an restful vacation without any noise and with friendly hosts. 👍🏽

Wij hebben twee weken mogen genieten van het appartement samen met onze dochter van 3 jaar en vrienden van ons samen met hun zoontje van 2 jaar. Dit was qua slaapplekken prima te doen doormiddel van het aanwezige slaapbankje en het ledikantje dat was geplaatst. De instructies en communicatie zijn goed. Het appartement is leuk ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien. Het is heel fijn dat elke slaapkamer een eigen aangrenzende badkamer heeft. Naast het appartement heb je een heerlijk strand en je mag ook gebruikmaken van het zwembad. De eerste week dat we er waren hadden we telkens een privé strand/zwembad omdat het rustig was. Het terrein is beveiligd en geeft een fijn gevoel, de aanwezige beveiligers zijn vriendelijk. Het appartement ligt wel wat verder maar alsnog zijn er leuke restaurantjes aanwezig op loopafstand. Op Curaçao is een auto sowieso een must. Ik was in eerste instantie wel bang voor het stroomgebruik maar dit zijn we niet overschreden. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. The view!!! The apartment was lovely and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. We loved the location as it was easy to walk downtown, or to restaurants. I would not have wished to stay any where else. The apartment was quiet and very clean. Our host was so kind and immediately responded to any questions. We fell in love with Curaçao and with our stay!

Wir waren 13 Nächte als Familie mit unserem Sohn (4 Jahre alt) und unserer Baby-Tochter (6 Monate alt) in Marits wunderschönem Haus. Es war alles perfekt und wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt! Wenn wir nochmal nach Curaçao kommen, würden wir wieder hier wohnen wollen. Die Küche ist perfekt ausgestattet (wichtig mit Kindern!) und auch sonst ist alles da, was man brauchen könnte. Es ist eine schöne und ruhige Gegend und wir haben immer sehr gut geschlafen. Die Terrasse ist ganz wunderbar, man blickt auf das Meer, beobachtet Vögel und es weht stets eine erfrischende Brise. Marit ist super freundlich, antwortet immer schnell und hat uns unglaublich viele Tipps für Unternehmungen gegeben und stets weitergeholfen, zum Beispiel, kurzfristig einen günstigen Mietwagen zu organisieren. Top Empfehlung!

Zeer gezellige woning, echt een aanrader! Alles was aanwezig, we hebben hier een heel fijne vakantie gehad. De tuin was compact en heel sfeer vol.

We had a great stay at the house. Everything was there as stated on the listing - super beautifully decorated and we felt right at home. Coral Estate is safe and has some great restaurants, the pool and access to the beach. We came with 6 year old twins and it was perfect for them as well, the pool, the smart tv, and great spaces to do coloring and chill.

The house and views were beautiful. We loved being able to open the house up to get fresh air as it was windy during our trip. It was also just as nice to have air conditioning in the bedrooms for the evening. The house had everything we needed for our stay. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

Wij hebben de villa 2 weken (april 2025)gehuurd van Stephany en alles was goed geregeld. Communicatie met Stephany en Angela(host) was van het begin tot het einde zeer goed. Villa is van alle gemakken voorzien en bezit alles wat je maar nodig hebt voor een geweldig verblijf. Het privé zwembad is de kers op de taart, zowel in de ochtend als in de avond heerlijk afkoelen. Al met al hebben we genoten van de villa en van het eiland. Stephany en Angela bedankt voor de service en succes met jullie nieuwe uitdaging. Groet, Marco

We will definitely be back! The house is your own private luxury resort. The pool area is very private, yet the location is central to everything. Easy walk to great restaurants. Could not have had a better stay. The pictures are beautiful, but I promise - even better in person!

Pita & Eric are fantastic hosts! Pita was very responsive to messages prior to and during our stay. The place is exactly as advertised and in a wonderful location. Highly recommend this condo for anyone looking to stay in Curacao!

It was the first time in Curacao for all of us (we were a group of 7 adults) and what an amazing experience it was. First of all, Dora was there to greet us at the villa and get us settled. The villa itself was just as pictured. Simply beautiful with plenty of entertaining space. Kitchen was very well equipped, bathrooms stocked, and plenty of snorkel and pool accessories for a relaxing and fun vacation. Our favorite spot was the patio with its sunken gazebo by the waterfront. Always a nice breeze. We even saw a sea turtle below! Dora offered some great suggestions for beaches and dining and would check in periodically to make sure we had everything we needed. Our favorite restaurants were Caleo Crudos y Parriilla and De Visserij, but we also enjoyed Koraal Rooftop Terrace at the resort one evening for dinner, and daily breakfast at Bread and More. We went to 6 beaches with our absolute favorite being Daibooi Beach just down the road where we snorkelled with some sea turtles!

Place was nothing shy of wonderful!! The patio had a nice breeze, overlooking the ocean, and perfect setup for breakfast every morning. The unit had everything we needed, strong WiFi, and very comfortable. It was a 2 minute walk to the beach, and the beach had plenty of chairs for people. And a few minute drive to the supermarket that has everything you would need - along with both Dutch and American products. Monique and Rachel gave great recommendations for restaurants as well! We plan to definitely come back!

This apartment was so amazing. It was modern, clean and had everything you need…. Plus a hundred other things you didn’t even know you needed (shopping bags, pool noodles, coolers and ice packs, snorkel, water shoes, bug spray - there’s so many thoughtful inclusions that I can’t name them all). Upon check-in we received full videos on how to operate everything (first time I have ever received this and it was extremely helpful). Having two bathrooms in one apartment was such a nice bonus. Beautiful master walk-in closet (I wish I stayed long enough to actually use it!). The balcony was the biggest balcony I have ever seen. There was a full dining table, two lounge chairs and still a ton of leftover outdoor space. I will 100% stay here if I ever return.

We can’t say enough about this apartment! We loved it here. Great communication from Josca and Elmer. We rented their car and pickup and drop off at airport were seamless. They had great suggestions for dining! The apartment was spotless clean when we arrived and the pictures were spot on. It had nice modern amenities and a large fabulous patio/deck with great views! Did I mention location? We were just the right distance from Willemstad (about 15 min car ride) with great access to the west side beaches. Our plan is to come back next year. If you rent this apartment you will not be disappointed!

We spent four nights here with our two children, ages 7 and 12, and had a wonderful stay. They especially loved the swimming pool and snorkeling at Blue Bay Beach. The apartment was very clean, spacious, and even larger than it appears in the photos. The decor is tasteful, and the view is beautiful. We felt very safe in the neighborhood, and there was a supermarket conveniently nearby. Gina, the host, was warm and welcoming. We really appreciated the late check-out and all her great recommendations for dining and activities. The only downside was that the internet was slow and coverage a bit spotty. Overall, it’s a very family-friendly area, and we would definitely recommend it for families.

We enjoyed 9 days in Austin Apartment for Easter. i don't have even one complain.All was fabulous. Apartment was so clean Nice decorations We like the beach towels kitchen had everything you need even containers that you can take to the beach.We used for fruits. The view was just WOW. Plenty closets,hangers. New washer machine,new oven,new coffee maker. Refrigerator was so clean. Master bedroom has amazing -big shower. So many great restaurant around(walking distance) We love the location Only one think I will add there is Roomba vacuum. lol. only because in my house my roomba never stop vacuuming .I have 2 little kids. it will be helpful for thr sand on thr floor. BUT- there is wall vacuum and brum in the Apartment .I am just Roomba lover. TO BE HONEST. No complaints. All was excellent Austin is the best host!!!! If you want stress Free vacation, just book this beautiful apartment in Palapa ♡♡♡♡♡

We loved everything about this place! It was way too big for the two of us, but we were looking for someplace with great reviews and ended up here. We are so glad we did. This place was worth it for the view alone we spent hours sitting on the patio, relaxing. Everything was exceptionally nice. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. Couch was so comfortable for hanging out. Short drive to Williamstead we parked in the Renaissance parking tower every time we went into town to walk around and explore. We had stayed on the north side of the island for a few days beforehand and wanted to go back up to snorkel at some of those beaches and the drive back up was not bad. Our favorite grocery store was the Carrefour because I have to be gluten-free. We found stuff we couldn’t even find in the United States! We would stay here again. And we would come back to the island again… We have snorkeled in Roatan and thought this was a close second to that. And the people are super friendly!

I could not say enough nice things about this place! It was everything our family needed. It was four adults and a 3 year old and we had all the space we could ever need. Walkable to amazing restaurants! The beach and pool accessible just a few steps was a dream! Kitchen had everything you’d need. Already hoping to come back in the future 🙂
