Knokx is a great host who will welcome you perfectly. The accommodation is very clean and functional. He and his family are very welcoming and his wife will prepare wonderful meals for you! I was able to discover the region very well accompanied and in complete safety (I was traveling alone), the Volta region is a superb region with a lot of activities to do! I highly recommend this gesthouse which allows you to be closer to the local population and you will feel at home. Go there with your eyes closed!

The house is much nicer than I expected with a very spacious and well kept compound. All the utilities and amenities were present and up to standard. Everything had been provided as promised with even a few additions. The host is easily reachable and responsive to all queries. After a long trip it was the perfect place to just relax and enjoy the mountain scenery. The place is truly a hidden gem!

Selassie was the perfect host. communication was A***, from dealing with enquiries before and during my stay. He came to meet me at the airport in Accra when my flight arrived late night, and drove 4 hours up to the house in Kpando. He also stayed over at Kpando for 2 days to make sure I got orientated around the town. I was booked for 28 nights. He also arranged for various friends and family to help me during my stay. The house is located in a typical Ghanaian family compound. Everyone I met was friendly and polite and very helpful. There are small shops within minutes walk, selling most things one would need. It's a short taxi ride into the town, where there is a huge market. The accommodation was as described and good value for money. I occupied a large well furnished living room and bedroom with queen size bed and en suite bathroom, nice hall and big verandah, plus a fully equipped kitchen. A pleasant and authentic stay. Convenient for the Volta Region.
