Although in the countryside, it´s only 20 min away from Jogja´s city center. We are a German-Indonesian family that lives close by and has been in love with this area for years. The chill wind in the fields and the sound of the water running down the river invites people to unwind and forget about everyday life.

The Writers' Treehouse is a cool, airy home 250m from the beach; it's surrounded by trees and a tropical garden, and has views across forested hills. Treehouse is an inspiring place in which to read, write, create, cook or relax (there are two swinging chairs), and from where to take long walks on an unspoiled beach. An eco-hotel is a 5-min walk away; you may use their pool if you have a meal or massage there. Medewi surf point is a 7-minute drive away.
