We really enjoyed our stay at the house! The friendly staff and even the dogs made us feel at home and the view and tranquility make it such a special place. The kitchen is fully equipped, which makes it so much easier to prepare meals. The spacious garden and swimming pool make it the perfect place to stay with kids.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house! The location is fantastic, with a stunning view of the Nile. The staff from Sole Hope were extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome. The house itself was absolutely charming and very spacious — ideal for our family with three teenagers. We truly enjoyed our time there and would love to come back!

Amazing Nile river cottage

Patrick is an amazing host, the place is nice mostly waking up to the amazing view of the calm Nile river, birds chirping and monkeys all over the trees was such a great experience. The only challenge was the endless power issues we experienced for the two nights and maybe lack of a screen indoors for some aesthetic and entertainment! On top of that, furniture needs a little upgrade, it’s old and some is actually broken! In general, the stay was fair!

It is a gorgeous house overlooking the Nile river, where monkeys jump from branch to branch in front of the main bedroom. The housekeeper made sure that all our requirements where met and she made fresh pineapple juice in the morning. We will be back to this beautiful place. Thank you!

Great place to go with family! Bernard caretaker was also very welcoming. Location is very good being right in the center of all places with activities at the source of the Nile. Place is just as you see in the photos no exaggeration. Not to forget the spot on communication from Violet! Highly recommended!!

This place was lovely, just as it was in the pictures, quiet, peaceful, clean and it felt like we were home. Alice was really friendly, and made sure we were doing alright and had everything we wanted and needed.. We shall definitely be going back. The view of the Nile was a gem. The caretaker was very responsive and the dogs were very friendly too

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful Airbnb from November 9th to 12th, providing me with the perfect retreat during my visit to the Nyege Nyege event. Although my original plan was to check in on the 9th, I unfortunately couldn't make it until the 10th. The host was incredibly understanding and accommodating, making my check-in process seamless. I felt secure throughout my stay, thanks to the secure access to the property and the host's commitment to ensuring a safe environment. The host's communication was exemplary. They were prompt in responding to my messages. In summary, my stay at this Airbnb greatly enhanced my Nyege Nyege experience. The comfort, convenience, and hospitality exceeded my expectations. I wholeheartedly recommend this Airbnb to fellow travellers looking for a cozy and well-situated retreat. I look forward to the possibility of returning for future visits to this delightful Airbnb. Bryan and Sara are especially lovely people. We had such a beautiful time. Both shared very precious information with us about the local life. We actually came for Nyege Festival, but I would definetely love to return also any other time to be in beautiful Bukaya, walk around, be in the nature, hang out with Bryan and Sara. Beautiful furniture, comfortable beds, friendly dogs and cat. We went on excursions together, we felt like at home, we relaxed and had great talks. The breakfast was outstanding with Mangos from the own tree and local specialities from the Village. Amazing!

Anisha was very willing to assist and responded quickly. She offered to do laundry for us, as this place has no washing machine. The place was very clean. The cleanest kitchen I’ve seen in any Airbnb. We enjoyed the wifi and Smart TV. Beds were comfortable. Nice view of the lake, especially when you go all the way up. The bathrooms don’t have hot water and there was no toilet paper. Maybe they would’ve provided, if we asked for it, but we just used napkins.
