Great place to escape to nature, relax and adventure in the surrounding mountains. Newly renovated throughout.
“Very nice stay here just my wife and I. It was a perfect secluded and relaxing place, especially the outdoor areas down by the creek and on the big deck. Jacuzzi was really nice too, although I'd imagine it would be a bit cramped for four adults (I'm 6'5" though so take it with a grain of salt). Sharon was a great host being very attentive and used a lot of her local tips to enhance our trip! Be prepared for rustic cabin vibes, which was what we were expecting. Overall, we were very happy!”
Bright and roomy newer 34 foot fifth wheel with four slides. Quiet and secluded with beautiful views of Lake Isabella. Minutes away from mountains, lake and river.
“The place was awesome. Very spacious with beautiful views and a great outdoor space. We spent a lot of time out on the deck and by the fire pit. We had a blast visiting Lake Isabella and the Kern River. Good times!”

“This place was amazing. It is absolutely gorgeous and decorated/designed in such a perfect way...homey and comfortable but so darn stylish. The property felt so vast and secluded and we loved walking down to explore the river in the afternoons. The small private beach was clutch for the kids, and we enjoyed dinner on the outdoor table down by/overlooking the river a couple times which was so serene. It was nice to be walking distance from the general store in case we needed anything in a pinch, and it was a short drive into town for antique shopping or restaurants (though we couldn't find any excellent food in town...but some places were a cool vibe!). We drove to three different hikes that Rod and Carol recommended for being kid-friendly (trail of 100 giants, peppermint falls and whiskey flat trail which was a short very hot hike to the most lovely little shaded creek). It was just the perfect week away with the kids (2 and 4 years old), and we are grateful for the hospitality. Our favorite thing to unwind was to sit on the back porch looking out at the mountains after the kids were in bed and chat for hours. This was a great place, and I would recommend to anyone!”
