Enjoy stunning views of the city at this renovated hilltop hideaway in one of San Francisco's sunniest neighborhoods. Marvel at the view while enjoying the fully equipped kitchen or while watching the sunset on the balcony. This updated in-law apartment is 900 square feet with a separate entrance located in a home built in 1910. We are a family of five who live in the unit above the apartment. While our home has been extensively remodeled, you may hear the occasional creaky floor above particularly during this time of the pandemic when our family is home more often.
“Katie and her family’s home is lovely. It is a nice and peaceful hideaway in the hills away from the chaos of SF. The place has everything you need from a huge comfortable bed, a large tv that swivels, a large couch, tons of natural lighting and fresh air coming through, and a beautiful updated kitchen with thoughtful amenities overlooking such a fantastic view of the city. Trust the reviews when folks say they didn’t want to leave! The one thing I should mention is that you will hear footsteps throughout the day as the place is directly under them. I would recommend Katie’s place to anyone wanting to stay in Potrero Hill.”
Enjoy your morning coffee or do some work at the kitchen bar counter that overlooks the sparkling city skyline. Decorated in the eclectic bohemian spirit of San Francisco, the living space is filled with original artwork, vibrant colors and souvenirs from travel. This is not a beige cookie-cutter apartment. This flat, with its easy-going creative vibe, just might be the place you discover the inspiration for your next project or journey. COVID UPDATE: We have always used a commercial grade steamer on mattresses, pillows and duvets after each guest. We ask that no shoes be worn inside.
“This is the second time I've stayed at Mike's place and I plan to keep coming back. He is incredibly responsive to anything you need and his place has everything you could ever imagine for a safe, comfortable and pleasant stay. Plus, the location can't be beat with coffee shops and restaurants in walking distance.”

“Elmer was a kind and hospitable host! His home was tidy and comfy - we loved his decor. He provided an ample selection of items had we forgotten to pack anything. He was also very charming to talk to and offered us recommendations not only for our few short hours in SF, but also for our next travel stop in Yosemite. We will definitely try to stay with him again if we get back to SF in the future.”
