Our stay was great and the place is very nice! More spacious than I expected with a large office and king bedroom as well as a good size living room. The place was remodeled very well and I loved that they keep some of the historic features such as hardwoods and fireplaces. Would definitely stay there again!

Great place; very close to Air Force base (3 miles), which was reason for visiting family there. Host is accommodating and responsive.

A really lovely place, for our extended family to gather. We loved all the light from the windows that overlook the lake. We greatly enjoyed gathering in the large open living room area, as well as on the deck, and around the fire pit with the airdirondack chairs. A great place to gather with family and friends. We are very thankful to have stayed at Doug's place. We found the place with ease, it was clean and very spacious. The place had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The yard was beautiful and very peaceful. It felt quiet and private! We had our children with us and Doug never complained of the kids being too loud, in fact he said he loved hearing their playful voices. Doug and his wife were very accommodating and always very quick to respond. Thank you for a great stay. Highly recommend it if you are staying in Macon.

10/10 recommend staying at Ellen’s place! The pictures are spot on. The kitchen has plenty of cooking utensils, glasses, silverware, etc. The coffee pot and Keurig were super clean. The washer and dryer worked great! Super comfy pillows!! And the beds and linens were also super cozy. Nice bathrooms with soft clean towels! First glance the neighborhood is interesting but people were friendly. Washer and dryer worked great. My family and I loved curling up on the comfy couches while we watched movies. It was very homey, and we have no complaints whatsoever! If we are ever back in the Macon area we hope that this Airbnb is available!

We could not have asked for a better experience! Darrin's house was exactly as pictured- very clean, well maintained, and inviting. There were endless amenities provided, from extra toiletries and hair dryers to yard games, kayaks, and a fully stocked kitchen with every utensil and appliance needed. Some of the highlights were the pool, close proximity to the lake, a vintage arcade game that was fun for multiple generations, and an abundance of sitting areas to enjoy the view. Darrin was always prompt and friendly in his responses, and provided clear directions to make our stay easy. I would definitely stay here again!

Our stay was great. The condo looks exactly like the photos, and the hosts were very responsive. The location was great, as it's near some good restaurants as well as the highway. Whereas the lobby area wasn't clean and the building isn't physically accessible for those who have difficulties climbing stairs, we were pleased with the place itself.

We are so happy we found this location when looking for a place to stay close to Milledgeville and close to part of our family that was renting a big house about 7 minutes away. It worked out perfectly for us - close to family, right on the lake. Plenty of quiet space for our daughter to keep up on school work and fabulous wi-fi. We highly recommend Coops Landing for breakfast! Tasty, staff is so friendly and it is close by!
