Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Kaarst

Had a great stay and everything was exactly as described. The cottage is very well equipped and Dorothee welcomed us warmly. Small note: you hear the rooster in the morning if you sleep with the window open, at least on the side of the chickens, so real village life.

That was realy good and responsible owner. The communication was so easy because of English language. I suggest to everyone

A very nicely decorated, listed cottage in a former workers' settlement, we felt very welcome.

A nice house with plenty of space, in a pleasant area. The kitchen is very well equipped and I loved the fact that all of the cupboards and drawers had little labels on to show what was inside - a handy little touch. The dining area is very comfortable with a large, sturdy table. We stayed for a couple of nights during a period of very warm weather and really appreciated the fact that it was easy to open the very large windows and get a nice breeze blowing through. The only slight drawbacks were a slow-draining shower, a lack of comfy living room furniture (one nice chair - the other two items are IKEA pull-out beds with hard backs), the very heavy door on the dishwasher (the door tension is broken, so it opened without any resistance and nearly flattened the dog!) and a missing garden gate so the dogs had to be kept on their leashes when in the garden, but these are very minor things when compared to the positive points about the accommodation. I would happily stay there again.

Wolfgang's place was very cosy. We stayed there as 4 friends for a night and we had a great time. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen and bathroom were clean and tidy. Check-in was easy with a smart lock. The only (minor) problem was the parking. There is no parking available on the promises (which is also listed in the description) but we were able to find parking across from the street after driving around a bit. So, be prepared to park a bit far and walk with your luggages (if you have any).

We felt very comfortable! The check-in was completely relaxed, Armin was immediately available and totally flexible and nice. Super cozy cabin, wood for fireplace was provided at no extra charge as well as the sauna. Everything was very idyllic and yet you were in Düsseldorf in 20 minutes by car, alternatively there is also a suburban train. A great recommendation!

We were two couples staying for two nights and the whole house suited our needs very well. The house is a little bit rural, but it is still close major cities (Frankfurt, Cologne, etc.). It is a very charming house and looks as it appears in the pictures.

Big thanks to Thomas for being the nicest airbnb host with a calm and serene place. Everything is as mentioned and very much at home.

We stayed here for a weekend to go hiking. It's very quiet and cosy.

Great place to relax, very nice surroundings! You walk out the gate and have all kinds of beautiful hiking trails to go...Plenty and more... to experience in the immediate vicinity of the cottage, we really enjoyed the peace, the silence and the privacy that is offered here. Spotted all kinds of birds in the garden while enjoying a drink; Flemish jigsaws, robins, finches, goats and even 3 black with white colored squirrels that we have never seen in the Netherlands, this was a welcome extra during breakfast on our last day. In short, really a lovely cottage where we thoroughly enjoyed. We stayed there for 3 nights, as far as we were concerned, far too short. The house itself is just a home where you can enjoy a lovely hot tub undisturbed, a hot tub and if the weather allows it a beautifully landscaped swimming pool outside. We took really beautiful walks, the gardens in Arcen we had already been but stay beautiful. So all praise !!

We used the accommodation for four with two children (12 and 9) as a central starting point for activities in the Ruhr area. Therefore, the location was especially important to us. With about 10 min. walk to the nearest train station, you can get everywhere very well. The apartment is not large, but well suited for a family for a few days. Otherwise, we particularly liked the great view through the balcony and window and the freely usable small swimming pool. All in all it was a nice time!

Markus and Carina are really lovely, tolerant people, it just shines from them. We were made to feel part of the family instantly. When we contacted them they were very responsive and assisted us with everything we needed. The apartment is spacious with plenty of cupboards and drawers, the kitchen is fully equipped as stated and was clean on entry, Nespresso machine was also really nice as we love our morning coffee. The surrounding area has beautiful walks and is very much like the Scottish Highlands, literally right outside the back door there is a lovely forest and hill walks, locals are friendly as you would expect living in such an idyllic hideaway. We very much enjoyed the fresh eggs and milk from the farms around the area. We really had a lovely time here and look forward to being able to return sometime soon.

She was a great host.. very friendly, responsive and great to communicate with.. And her home was so quiet, serene and a place worth spending time indoors ..it looked more beautiful and spacious than pictures. will definitely come again

I was traveling for work and was able to feel at home in Susann's apartment. The highway can be reached quickly and you can always find a parking space at the house, the surroundings were great for extended gas laps in the afternoon. In the kitchen you have everything you need and especially the bathroom was spotlessly clean. Thank you!

We had a nice week at Marie-Luise's cottage. The "painting heating" made it wonderfully warm. - From this cottage you can be in Cologne in half an hour by train. - Furthermore, you can also quickly be in nature from the cottage for a nice walk. - We'll probably come back here sometime. The house was amazing. Was as described in the photo. Marcus was very flexible with check in and checkout timing. The supermarkets were walkable distance from the accomodation. Its located in the quiet location and very close to netherlands border. The house had everything we needed and lots of space for a family of 4. Thankyou Marcus for having us. It was a pleasure staying at your place, I would highly recommend it.

Very quick and friendly response. She also pointed this out very nicely to a small flaw. Apartment is as described. We had our Christmas party there and were able to wake up for a very long time and love to celebrate.

I had a wonderful stay in the beautiful, tasteful cottage of Judith and Volker. The cottage and amenities are exactly as described in the listing. I only found the walk to the sparkling clean (and also very tasteful) bathroom a plus, because you walk through a beautiful garden. And last but not least: Judith and Volker are incredibly welcoming and helpful, absolutely Superhosts!

Heinz-Leo's place is amazing from all perspectives. Great location, very spacious house and excellent facilities. The house was very clean also. The friendly hosts and the cute alpacas just add to the wow factor. Definitely recommend for anyone around Gillrath area.
