Vacation rentals with beach access in Kalaoa, Hawaii County

Great communication and helpful advices on things to do. Location was beautiful with the sound of the surf to enjoy. Condo was well stock and labeled for easy use.

We had a wonderful getaway on the Big Island! The condo was fantastic. Clean, comfortable, and stocked with everything we needed. We especially enjoyed using the grill and coffee machine, and the beach/snorkel gear was a great bonus. The massage chair was the perfect way to unwind at the end of each day. The location was ideal, just a short walk to shops, restaurants, and beautiful beaches. The binder of instructions and local recommendations was incredibly helpful. We hope to return someday!

Amazing stay! Thoughtful touches and very well equipped Airbnb. We REALLY appreciated all the beach equipment available for use (ie sunscreen, umbrella, cooler, etc). Flexible checkin, communicative and friendly host. Quiet area. Was close by drive to all the spots but you would need a car to get around. Lots to eat/do in the area. Fast WiFi and appreciated the TV. Parking was simple, driveway not too steep getting in and out was pretty easy. Great deal would recommend to anyone !! :))

We stayed at Thomas’ condo for a full week and were pleasantly surprised by all the special touches to make us feel at home. The location is great! The condo complex is quiet and safe with ample parking. We felt right at home!

we loved our stay, Matt and Rose's place was the perfect getaway for our 'Baby-moon'. the space is so peaceful and so much more beautiful than the pictures let on. we loved it here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat. we would stay again in a heartbeat. thanks so much Matt and Rose!

Spacious and well stocked Airbnb. Really nice touches with a few snacks and drinks provided and plenty of towels and kitchen amenities. The place is a bit dated but clean and the main bed was very comfortable. The pullout sofa in the living room is extremely uncomfortable if you’re planning to have anyone sleep there. I didn’t reach out to the host about it so maybe they could have provided a foam topper or something else for it. If you’re looking to have anyone sleep adults sleep out there I would check with the host to see if they can provide something to make it more comfortable since it was harder than a futon to sleep on. Overall good value for the price and convenient location.

We had an amazing stay! The apartment was so spacious, tastefully decorated and very clean. We loved watching the horses from the lanai and having Buddy the dog greet us everyday when we arrived back. We felt like we had the best spot on the island to watch the sunset. The sounds of the coqui frogs at sunset was absolutely amazing and so relaxing to fall asleep to. The kitchen was incredibly well equipped for self catering and it was really helpful having some things in the cupboards like spices, oil, syrup, etc. We were so sorry when it was time for us to leave!

Absolutely loved staying at Bailey’s place in Puako. It was so tranquil and gorgeous with the sound of the ocean at night and the amazing birds in the morning. The unit was very comfortable with a well stocked kitchen. We were 3 people - our teenage son slept on the pull out couch in the living room - you do have to walk through the bedroom to access the bathroom. This was fine for us. I loved the screen porch!! Bailey left so much info that helped us and was responsive to any request. We would happily come back here again.

We had an amazing time at Joe and Anna’s place! The location was ideal, tucked in a quiet area but still close to shops, restaurants, and everything we needed. The space was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up with everything you’d want in an Airbnb. The kitchen had all the utensils and essentials for easy cooking, and the pool was perfect for our kids, especially with the fun pool toys that were already there. Joe and Anna were incredibly kind and responsive, always quick to answer any questions. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests’ experience. It really felt like a home away from home, and we’d absolutely stay here again!

Hi! very pretty place near magic sands beach if you like to buggy board! place was clean and was the most organized air b &b I have every stayed in! everything labeled and super well stocked ( coffee beans, pots, pans, basic cooking necessities , food storage dishes , paper towels, cleaning supplies ) . Made it so easy to live there for a few days! The only thing I din't notice on the listing was that the owners live downstairs on a separate floor / separate entrance. That being said , I did not see anyone the entire time I was there , but I was worried my kids might disturb them , and usually try and book places without owners on the premises due to my children who are still young and always tusseling with each other ( boys! ) - overall an amazing stay. and host was very responsive to any questions. Mahalo!!

We will rent this home again if we are back to the Big Island! We really enjoyed the different spaces. The interior was open concept and a great gathering space. The lanai porch was peaceful and very pleasant mornings and evenings. The outdoor shower and hot tub was a great space for small groups to gather.

Our family loved the house. There was plenty of space for everyone and the set up was perfect for our needs. We especially loved sitting on the lanai in the mornings and evenings, and falling asleep to the sound of the tree frogs. The location was a further from the ocean than we realized, but we enjoyed the lushness of the hilly terrain and would stay there again. Susan and Iris were very responsive when we reported a few minor appliance issues and it didn't impact our overall experience.

Absolutely stunning home…great location and furnished with pretty much anything you could ever need. Between the hammock, ping pong table, tree house, and beach toys, it’s hard to imagine that any place could possibly be more kid-friendly. Hosts were responsive and extremely accommodating. I wouldn’t hesitate to rent it again, and highly recommend this property.

We loved our stay at Mary’s place! Although it was a little more remote than expected, we appreciated the access to the different beautiful beaches in the neighborhood. The snorkeling at Manini Beach was spectacular! Because we had our 8 month old granddaughter with us, we also spent a lot of time in the beautiful pool. The “glamping” aspect of our stay was fun and we enjoyed the sounds of nature, particularly our rooster alarm at the crack of dawn which certainly helped us get our days started. We would highly recommend Mary’s place and wouldn’t hesitate staying again when on the island.

It’s a home away from home! A great house in a gated community. The neighbors are full-time retirees, so the kids were mindful of noise when playing in the private pool, as per the host’s instructions. The sunsets were beautiful. We followed their local recommendations and visited their favorite açaí spot—it was a cozy place with a lovely sea view. The house is conveniently located: about 15–20 minutes from the airport and supermarkets, and roughly a 2-hour drive to the volcano. The kitchen is fully equipped with quality items that appear to be what the hosts themselves use regularly, not just basic supplies for guests. They also provided everything we needed for a beach day—umbrellas, chairs, and boogie boards. We did encounter a few issues during our stay, but the host team was very responsive and quickly made things right. We also requested some extra help, and they were kind enough to go the extra mile for us. Overall, it was one of the best AirBnBs we stayed in my Hawaii Trip.

What more is there to add? The five star reviews say it all. The home is in a peaceful neighborhood but close to water, shopping, activities. We appreciated the well-stocked kitchen. Everything you need to cook is provided. Living in the treetops with abundant bird life is simply magical. The hosts have provided ever the you need for a great vacation stay. We would return here in a heartbeat.

Thank you for hosting us in your beautiful home on the ocean! We enjoyed watching the surfers and sunset daily from the lanai or floor to ceiling windows, the sound of the ocean waves so rhythmic and calming. The condo is quiet, the pool and hot tub are great after a day of exploring. The kitchen was decently stocked to prepare daily meals and the condo was clean and well taken care of. The location was excellent, close to town/restaurants in one direction and beaches for snorkeling and picnicking in the other direction. Jennifer had snorkeling equipment, boogie boards and picnic coolers available for our use. We also had a designated, covered parking spot with secure, but easy access to condo. A wonderful stay! I hope our family can return again one day!

What a perfect place to stay. Beautiful view and awesome accommodations. Quiet and peaceful. Easy to get to everywhere. Chad was great! Super helpful and attentive. Very comfortable place to stay with everything you could want. Would highly recommend to everyone.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The view was outstanding and great to see surfers every morning and afternoon. The condo itself was very comfortable and would stay here again.

The place was exactly as described! For a small condo It was plenty for us and close to town, which was very cute. The shower was very nice and bathroom and other amenities were perfect for our short stay. Thank you.
