Cabin vacation rentals in Kalkaska County

Not only was this peaceful gem just like the listing. BUT the record collection and books are AWESOME!!!! The pet friendly fenced in back yard was spacious and well lit for our Great Dane puppy to run a frolic to her little hearts content. Cant build build a fire?(even though there was ample wood supplied)?? There’s a gas table top fire.. don’t feel like going out??? I made a homemade breakfast pizza and had all the cooking utensils I needed… I felt soo at home and at peace. And enjoyed a trip to Petosky and POND HILL FARM and the tunnel of trees. I JUST need to know one thing??? How much is rent, and when can I move in??

absolutely LOVED Dorene and John’s getaway cabin! it’s very clean, and has a homey feel. they have anything you would absolutely need including, a bunch of dishes, towels, lots of extra pillows and blankets, and stocked on paper towel and toilet paper. their cabin is peaceful, we didn’t really see any neighbors but the group we did see were very friendly! this place was absolutely gorgeous, i definitely recommend!!

We loved staying at Navid and Julie’s place! It was a beautiful condo and setting! Very clean, peaceful and beautiful. We did have an issue with the driveway not being plowed when we arrived but Navid was diligent about getting that done. It was done later that night. We would love to stay again at this beautiful condo!

Was a very beautiful and peaceful place in the woods. The hot tub was super clean, very cozy fireplace area, and the whole set up was just gorgeous. We had a really great experience! We also loved how they are stocked with all the essentials like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, q-tips, and everything you would need. The host was very helpful and responded fast.

N.M. was a wonderful host. Very helpful and responsive! The adjustable room temperature was great as each guest could set the temp to their liking, loved that. The house was cozy and the hot tub was an amazing bonus to our low key girls weekend away. We bumped into one of their neighbors on the private drive and they were very friendly as well. A great area in the woods while being close to town! We will be back!

it was a great time staying there. it was a good looking house and it made me feel at home and it was super comfortable. I really want to come back again sometime in the future. I loved everything about it and my time there was worth it, there's nothing bad to say about this place.

My stay at this location was exactly what I was looking for. I had been staying for ~2 weeks and I felt like I was right at home with everything I needed.

Paula was extremely responsive and helpful! Walking distance to numerous attractions in a quiet, peaceful location. The Airbnb was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed. Would definitely return!!

Craig’s place was everything we have been looking for! We have 2 rescue dogs who have a hard time being around other dogs. We really wanted a place where they could be free to be themselves out in nature. Craig’s place was very private, with a big property. We went for some lovely walks on the trail, and also explored some locations nearby with great river walks. I have to say that Craig’s place was so welcoming and comfortable. The old cabin feel, the wood burning fire, the dvd selection. We just loved being a bit cut off from the world (but still had a bit of signal.) Craig is so helpful and accommodating. The cabin has everything you need, extra blankets, a full kitchen, fire wood ready, games. Just show up with your clothes (and food) and you will be set! We were just a couple, but there are lots of beds for more guests to stay. We hope to return with some friends in the future and experience everything the cabin has to offer in different seasons! The ad was accurately described and we had a great trip. The cabin was very clean and fit our needs for the trip. One note: the water heater is small so long showers will use all the hot water. Also, the shower is plumbed backwards, so it took a minute to figure out that hot = cold and cold = hot when using the shower.

Responsive and quick to help after an issue with the lockbox (likely user error on my part). Very friendly and amenable to a booking adjustment two days prior. Would definitely stay here again.

The home was clean and comfortable. snowmobile trail was across the street. food and gas was next to the lodge. Great location to snowmobile.

We were up visiting with family and this was the perfect place for us to come back and relax at. I love being by water and this place has the water right in its backyard. We loved watching the ducks play and had a fox come right past the door walls. I slept so good here, the beds were very comfortable. Will definitely try to book this place again next time we visit family!

Great place to stay while we went ice fishing on bear lake.

We had an amazing time! The cabin was very clean and cozy. We loved fishing and kayaking on the river and even caught a few trout! Elizabeth was such a great host, so kind and very helpful. We already booked our next trip!
