Lindisfarne is located 75 miles north of the Twin Cities in East Central Minnesota on 80 acres. The Tower is just one of 3 Cabins we have here on the grounds. Enjoy a walk through the woods on one of our trails, relax in the Chapel or enjoying a fire in our fire ring. Lindisfarne is an ideal location to just get out of town for a couple days.
“We enjoyed our stay here as a little family of 4 (2 small kids). Our 4 yr old LOVED ‘his’ loft space, but all of us enjoyed sitting up there and looking at the sky and the beautiful meadow. We saw cranes, turkeys, geese, and a deer. A friendly cat even came for a visit one evening as we roasted mallows by the fire. One day, we followed the trails through the woods for an easy hike and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. The property was pretty quiet and the cabin was clean & cozy. Michael was friendly, attentive to our needs, and a good communicator. One thing to note: there are lots of ticks in the area! Thankfully, Michael provided bug spray. We definitely needed it after going for hikes! 😆 But the overall experience was just what we needed - a quick getaway from the city.”
Quiet, country setting on the Snake River, 12 miles N of Mora on Hwy 65. Snowmobile trails and Knife Lake close by. Great stopping location for your snowmobile travels! You will have access to 2 bedrooms and a bathroom shared between the 2 bedrooms. Coffee, tea, snacks and fruit are available in each room. Home of the Vasaloppet--Mora's famous Cross Country Ski Race! We are located 12 miles from downtown Mora, and the start/finish of the race.
“Robin’s Place was perfect for our needs. We just needed a place to crash the night before the Mora Vasaloppet race, with adequate room to organize our gear. With that in mind, it was better than a hotel room at twice the price. There was just two of us, so we had more than enough room to spread out our gear. If we had four there would been still plenty of room. Real convenient to be able park right outside the door for loading and unloading. Bathroom was plenty spacious, allowing room for dressing as well as the usual. Great plus was the provision of basic breakfast foods (Fruit, oatmeal cups, Clif Bars, tea & Coffee) and toiletry items. Robin’s place is a bit off the beaten path, but for many that’s a plus. The house is situated on a beautiful wooded lot. If you are hungry, you don’t have to go all the way back to Mora. There are some good restaurants nearby on Hwy 65.”
Remodeled in 2013 this space has more than enough room to have your entire family for an "up north" experience. Beautiful wood floors, comfy beds, real wood fireplace and AC. We are on Malone Island, a quiet community. Great location for summer and winter activities. We are .5 miles from snowmobile/ATV/bike trails. Enjoy the outdoor fire pit, hammock and fishing from the docks. We have 3 docks available for boats. A canoe and 2 kayaks are available for your use. Alexa and fire stick, smart Tv
“Layout of home was fantastic - two bedrooms on the main floor along with 1.5 baths and two bedrooms upstairs with another full bath. Owners communicated perfectly on arrival and about cutting the lawn during our stay. No surprises. Location on the water was so relaxing and provided protection for the boat on the windy days. Plenty to explore right on the inlet with the kayaks - turtles, bluegills, mud fish and minnows, ducks and geese, and even a otter! The birds were always singing, but a fan in the window created enough white noise to allow you to sleep into the morning. We walked to peninsula across the inlet every day and and met many nice people from the neighborhood this way and got the local fishing reports. We used the kitchen which had everything I needed for eggs, tacos, burgers, and grasshoppers. We also had a good experiences at Da Boathouse and Waukon Inn for dinner and Country Corner Cafe for breakfast. Tried the casino for dinner one night and I'd pass on that next time. Overall, it was a great rental and we'd certainly stay again!”
